1. Mystery

As a tradition, there is the welcoming ball where the Royal Children will be introduce and represent their Kingdoms to answer people's curiosity and end the rumors. With the orchestra playing. the music of honour, caught the crowd of nobility's attention, they all looked at the wide decorated stairs and wait for the one who will be announce.

"The most awaited festival are now here before our eyes. And with the power bestowed in me, I now introduce the Royal Children.", he first opened the golden scroll with such elegance. "In the Kingdom of Lavender, Princess Viola Octacher.", he stopped and waited for the princess.

Viola take a deep breath and ready herself for another smile. She felt the sting in her jaw because of faking it the whole day. Thinking of how many nobility are here makes her anxious and again, afraid because of the eyes they always give. She ready herself from it and slowly opened the curtain that cover her from the crowd. She then smile, but unexpectedly she was mesmerize by how the ballroom designed. It was fantastic. While walking downwards, she forgot to look at the others reaction, hypnotized by how everything looks perfect.

"So this is the Empire's Castle.", she whispers, not knowing she was already in front of the people.

Because of the sudden silence of the princess,"Princess Viola?", the royal announcer called her that woke her up from her daydream.

"Oh!", Viola exclaimed. She was embarrassed but she can't let them see it. With grace, she hold her side gown and bow with so much elegance.

She walked to her Golden Violet chair located in the right side of the another royal chair, like nothing happens.

'What a disgrace.', she said in her mind. She thought nothing will happen if she mind it too much that's why she just focused herself on the main event.

When the Royal announcer ensure that Princess Viola is comfortable in her chair, he then opened the second golden scroll. "From the Kingdom of Indigofera, Prince Sal Maxitellus."

'So it's my turn!', Sal said in his mind. He makes sure that his attire and looks are all good before opening the curtain. "This castle is sure an amazing one.", not bothered by the audience, he walked as a prince and bow as a sign of respect.

He walked towards the left side of the stairs, and noticed that Princess Viola is staring at the ceiling. When he sit, he also looked at the ceiling where the lady is staring.

"What an innocent lady she is.", he whispered and listened to the next Royal Child.

"From Sapphire Kingdom, Prince Caelum Evantonia."

Most of the ladies in the crowd starts to open their Abaniko's and hide their half faces. In the kingdom, it is a sign of invitation that the maiden is still unmarried.

Caelum on the other hand, didn't hear his name because he was fooling around with a servant.

"Do you want to play tonight?", he asked with the playful smile. The lady is in between his arms cornered in the wall.

"I-I-I apologize for my r-rudeness.", the servant cried in fear that makes Caelum back off. The lady then run before Cealum apologize.

Caelum was disappointed.

"How lame to be a prince.", he said while staring at the running lady.

When he's about to wait at the curtain, he heard a small laugh.

"How lame you are, a prince.", a girl's voice boiled Caelum's blood. He looked around but no one is there but he noticed a shadow jump from the window.

"A ghost?", he asked with a great confusion.

He look around and stare at every corner. He startled when a hand touch his shoulder. "Prince Caelum?", his personal servant asked him. He nodded yet he is still looking around. "You are called by the announcer three times already and I got worried when you didn't come out.", the servant explained.

Caelum remember that he is in a ball. "I forgot.", he then run towards the curtain and smile widely when he open it.

'Is everything alright?', Viola ask in her mind because of the late arrive prince.

Sal smirked. 'I bet he is fooling around again.'

Caelum bowed and apologize for his fault and walked towards the Golden Bue chair beside Sal.

"How's the game?", Sal asked when Caelum sit. The prince who got rejected pout that makes the crowd crazy. "Man, we're in a ball.", Sal reminds him and laugh.

"I met a lady bu—"

"From Emerald Kingdom, Princess Folia Cassiadian.", Caelum didn't finish his story when a beautiful lady with a silky green hair came out from the curtain.

"What a beauty.", Sal said while staring at the lady.

"She could be a great concubine, neh?", Caelum whispered, still looking at the lady.

"Not again, Man."

Folia, on the other hand, doesn't really care about everything. For her, following the book and her teachers are the only thing she needs to do. She walked like what she told her and bow like what she learned.

Viola doesn't know what to do, still, she smiled even the princess of Emerald doesn't even looked at her.

"From the Golden Kingdom, Sidus Caesar."

'This is exciting. A wife huh?', Sidus smiled from his thought. As he opened the curtain, he saw a bunch of women inviting him with their Abaniko.

As he walked towards the crowd he thinks about what wife he wants. 'Beautiful, elegant and intelligent. I need to find someone like what my sister said.', he planned in his mind and bow. He walks to his golden chair and notice the two princes, he wave at them and they smiled.

"From Narang Kingdom, Stapelia Selvimus."

Stapelia, who doesn't really like crowds because she hates dirt, roll her eyes then smile before opening the curtain.

'Disgusting. Hmph!', she complain inside her mind. 'Nobles, servants, knights. Ugh!'

Before she sit, she stare at her chair. 'I told to father, he needs to make sure this is sophisticated. He's so useless. Hmph!' , Stapelia doesn't really care about her surroundings.

"Ehem. From the Scarlet Kingdom, Princess Leonthera Veslacia."

The whole crowd became silent when they heard the name of the nameless princess. Rumours and stories about her will come to light and all their questions will be answered about how she looks like.

All the nobles, even the Royal Children are focus their attention to the princess everyone is waiting for.

'Father told me I need to know this nameless princess.', Sal remembered when he heard Leonthera's name.

'So her name is Leonthera. How come she called nameless then?', Viola ask in her mind.

'I bet she is also disgusting.', Stapelia's commented while staring at her nails.

'Who is this girl?', Folia doesn't really care. 'She's not in any book.'

Caelum got curious when everyone went silent. 'Is she that mysterious?'

The crowd are still waiting for the princess. All of their eyes are focus on the curtain and some are anxiously curious. A minute passed and some are looking around, thinking maybe something happens.

Another minute passed and no one comes out.
