Episode 24- In the End

We were gonna end this once and for all. I watched as my siblings used their powers to take down Shagami's robots. I started to help people get off the aircraft. They thanked me and hugged me. "Who are you"? "I'm the Duchess of Trap City... I'm Duchess Petrov", I smiled, helping the little boy off the ship. "Thank you Duchess Petrov", he said, running to his mother. After helping everyone off the craft I saw every single robot stop and make its way to RingTown. I watched as they marched over there. "If we can't have you bandits, we'll take the goodies". I ran to Emily to make sure she was okay. "Emily"! I cried as I looked at her pale cold skin, she wasn't moving. "Emily, open your eyes". She opened her eyes and smirked.

I could tell she was getting weaker. "I'm gonna help you, what's wrong"? She looked down at her stomach. Down in the left side of her abdomen, a robot had punched a large dent, poking through her skin and into her body. I gasped, "Oh my god". "I'm probably not gonna make it", she laughed. "No, you're gonna make it... I promise you". "You really promise"? "Yeah, of course". She smiled before closing her eyes again. I got up and turned to Shagami. "You know... my friend James told me not to kill you. I'm not gonna just straight up kill you... I'll make you bleed to death instead". "I want to see you try duchess". I threw a punch at her and she blocked it. I ducked under her arm and punched her in the neck.

She gripped at her throat and stumbled back. I kicked her and punched her over and over. "Final blow", I shouted. I let out an explosion and she was bleeding terribly. "Now run away... and don't ever come back". She got up and limped away into the forest. I went to the end of the bridge. Everything in me wanted to watch RingTown burn. They had only ever taken things from me. Yet Emily's home and the people she loves are there. I ran into RingTown shutting down and exploding robots everywhere I went. I was beat, tired, hungry, and dying. Once the job was done I stood in the middle of RingTown, wondering what to do next. I fell to my knees and looked up in the sky. I had saved everyone, of course not alone though.

Not only was I a ruler, but a warrior. I planted onto the ground and lied there, passed out. When I woke up there was a beeping noise, and the room was bright. I was in a hospital bed, I turned to the side and saw Emily there, sleeping. I let out a sigh and smiled. I got up and walked around, looking for others. I saw James making his way down the hall in a wheelchair. "Wow... you look horrible", I laughed. "I could say the same for you". "Is your friend....-"? "No, Cyber is alive, I'm gonna go see him". "Cool, good". "What about Emily"? "No she's fine... just sleeping right now". "Great, fantastic... well I guess I should go". I nodded my head and watched as he rolled down the hallway.

(James' P.O.V)

I walked into the room and saw Kuzma lying there, he had his mask off. His eyes slowly opened and he smiled when he saw me. "Hi James". "Hey", I smiled. I was nervous, I had kissed him before. Maybe he forgot. "You kissed me", he laughed. "I did, by accident". "You gave me a full blown kiss by accident"? I nodded my head. "Well I guess this is a bad time to say I loved that kiss with my last dying breath". "Really"? "I did... I'm in love with you James". I smiled, "I'm in love with you too". I wheeled over to his bed to get a closer look at him. "How are you holding up"? "Besides the fact there was just a hole in my stomach, I'm doing great. You wanna know what would make me feel better"? "What"? "Another kiss", he smiled. "What if I saw no"?

"Then I just might die again-". I kissed him and made sure to make it last this time. "There, now if you die I'll bring you back just to kill you myself". "Fine... I won't die darling". I smiled as I slowly lifted myself into his bed. He moved over, wincing, and I did the same. "How did things go"? "I got fucked up... Inko and her siblings ended everything". "What about Shagami"? "She ran off", Inko said. She was standing in the doorway. "I know you said no killing Cyber but... I think she might be somewhere bleeding out".
