Trap City

 "It's not your fault Emily... I promise", I told her. She smiled and hugged me. "I forgive you". I kissed her, "I love you Emily". "I love you too Inko". 


 "If it happens again I'm not gonna be so nice", Tikki told me. "I-I'm sorry". She scoffed before jumping back over the gate. I heard talking on the other side. "Tikki, what were you doing"? "I was just talking to the neighbor's kid". I heard a splash into the pool on my way back inside. "You aren't gonna eat breakfast", Samantha asked. "Nah, I'm not hungry", I said, grabbing a waffle and walking out the front door. Outside I saw president Omari and his guards walking somewhere. I guess the Councilman is returning from his little hide away. He walked past me and looked me in the eye. It's common to bow in the president's presence. Yet I had no reason to bow, he sucks.
