Henry was working in the restaurant when a woman came there, he looked at her and went near her,
"Why didn't you tell me before coming?" he said while holding the bags from her hands.
"I just passed by, I bought you some mountain product," the woman said while pointing towards the bags, henry was holding.
"It costs too much, have you had lunch?" Henry said while going in,
"Yes, I had lunch, don't bother," she replied while going after her.
As they went, the other people sitting there started gossiping, "she is Jack's aunt, why did she often come here?" a young lady said to others.
"Maybe she wants money too and wanna run away, just like her sister," the other lady said.
Henry and Jack's aunt were sitting in the restaurant while talking.
"Where are Jack and Hazel? why don't bring them here?" she said while taking a sip from her drink.
"They are at school," Henry replied.
"Oh, I'm such a fool, how come I don't know that," she replied.
"Isn't it the same time for Ling to go to school," he asked with curiosity.
"He has bad grades, so instead of continuing his studies, he went to my third uncle for work," she replied.
"But he is too young to work," he replied.
"Our kids at school can't do the same as in the country, if we have raised Jack, he would not go to college, he would also work at this age," she replied while looking down.
"But it's not good as you said, I only have this restaurant, we reluctantly live on it," he replied while smiling.
"Reluctantly? it's too good for him, I don't know what we did in the last life, we have you, Henry, you are such a good person," she said while tears started appearing in her eyes.
"I'm flattered now, stop it, just have your drink," Henry annoyingly said as he don't want to be praised.
After seeing off Jack's aunt, Henry came to the home and started preparing lunch, the main door opened revealing Frankie, "Are you making boiled fish, I can smell it even from downstairs," Frankie said while changing his shoes.
"Oh, you came, the lunch is almost ready," Henry said while coming out from the kitchen with a bowl in his hand.
"Here is the maintenance for this month," Frankie said while giving Henry an amount of money.
Henry's hands were dirty so he asked them to put the money on the table.
"Don't you count them?" Frankie said with shock.
"It's okay if you even didn't me this, you would have cabbage for a whole month," Henry said and they both laughed.
The front door opens revealing three of them, "We are back, dad," they said in a voice.
"Ah, my three senior high school students, go wash your hands and have lunch," Frankie said.
"Sure dad Frankie, wow so many dishes," Hazel said while coming to the table, and going towards the washroom to wash her hands.
As she went to the washroom, Eric went towards the kitchen to bring more dishes and Jack started arranging the plates on the table.
"Jack, your second aunt came today, she didn't know you went to school already, so she left," Henry said while sitting down.
"It's good that she left, I don't know what to talk to her," he said while sitting down.
"You bad boy, she loves you, and cares for you a lot," Henry said.
"She is good, but she talks too much, she said trivial things to Jack, Jack, don't fight with Hazel, respect your dad, I can even recite them," Frankie said while smiling.
Eric came and sit with them, Hazel also came out from the washroom and they started eating lunch. Hazel just kept on smiling.
"You look so happy today, did you make friends on the first day of school," Henry asked.
She didn't say anything and just started eating the food.
"Look at us, what a happy family, you know when we decided to raise you, kids no one support us, everyone said it's not possible to raise three children without a mother, and look at us now, how happy we are," Frankie said while laughing.
The next day, Eric was sitting in the class while doing his homework, when a lady came to him, "who is the brother of Hazel from grade one?" she asked. Eric raised his hand.
"Your sister is acting bravely for a just cause in the backyard, please go here as soon as you can," she said and left.
Eric immediately get up and went outside.
In The Backyard,
"Call anyone you want, even if you called your headmaster you have to compensate for what you have done, you know how important this drug is? it's very hard to buy them," One man among the three said to Jack, who was standing in front of a girl as a shield. The girl was too scared.
"She has said many times, you dumped into her, not she dumped into you," Jack said while keeping his hands in his jeans pocket.
"Sir, I don't have that much," the girl said while looking down.
"Shut up," Jack irritatedly said.
"Look, this is the receipt from the pharmacy, it costs too much," another man said.
"Don't show me that, first, I don't know if the receipt is real," he said while making eye contact with them.
"Hey, you want to repudiate the debt, don't you?" one said while coming to them but the other pulled him back,
"Look, they are just kids, and she didn't do it on purpose, why not let it do?" the other man said.
"No, I will not let it go," he replied.
"Look kids, you didn't do it on purpose, so why don't you two compensate us together?" the other man said.
sure, I have some money, you can take it," the girl said while taking out the money.
"Hey, are you stupid?" Jack asked while stopping her.
"It's none of your business," the other man said while coming closer to the girl.
"Hey, don't touch her," Jack said while pushing him behind.
He immediately grabbed Jack's shoulder while looking directly into his eyes, they were just fighting when they heard a girl's sound,
"BROTHER JACK!!!!!!!" Hazel shouted while running toward them and throwing her bag in their direction, As Jack looked at her, he immediately stay aside.
Hazel was about to come closer to them, but Jack hold her from behind while stopping her. The man became furious and was about to come to them again when he heard another sound from behind.
"The cops are coming, don't move," Eric said while running to them.
"Hey, the cops are coming, let's go, run," one said and they ran away.
Jack released Hazel and Eric came to them, "I told you to call the teacher, why did you bring Eric here?" Jack said.
"what if they had weapons?" Eric asked while looking at Hazel.
"What if they had weapons?" Hazel repeated while looking at Jack.
"What if they-" Jack was about to say the same, but then said, "didn't you call the police?" he asked while looking at Eric.
"I was in a hurry, so I didn't do it," Eric replied.
"Although you were out of good intentions, and upheld justice, what if they had knives or sticks?" The teacher asked them.
"Now, wait for your teachers to take you back," the teacher said and left.
They were standing outside the class while waiting for their teacher when that girl came there,
"Thanks for helping me," she said and bowed, while looking at Jack, who was not even looking at her, "It was all my fault, I am Julia, Hazel's classmate," she further said.
"Is she your classmate?" Eric asked.
"I don't know," she innocently replied while looking up at him.
"I am your monitor," she replied.
"I didn't notice, sorry," Hazel said.
At night, Henry was going into the room after doing dishes, then he saw Hazel's bag on the sofa,
"Geez, this girl, putting your bag everywhere" he picked up the bag but found it too heavy, so he opened the zip and looked in the bag.
There was a brick in her bag, he took it out and looked at it for a while with a shocked face.
