A Mind with Confusions

The following night, Xiexie went to visit the Princess and there he found out that the princess is missing. So, he went outside and looked for her.

But he couldn't find her, until he remembered to go to her favorite spot to practice martial arts and there, he finally saw her.

"Finally! I found you Princess!"

The Princess did not pay attention to what Xiexie said but, she continued practicing her martials arts. Xiexie sat under the tree and watching the graceful beauty of the Princess while practicing martials arts. He smiled at her with love and care thinking, "How I wish for the Princess to love me. Sadly, it's a love that I can't possibly have." Suddenly, the princess stopped practicing looked at Xiexie and asked,

"Do you love me?"

Xiexie was shocked about the Princess's question and just laughed. "Haha! What are you saying princess? We're just best friends. And I think you're the one who is in love with me!"

The Princess did not answer and continued her martial arts practicing.

Later, her Master arrived.

"What are you doing here!?" Xiexie asked with looking at him with vigilance,

"Am I not allowed to watch my student and check how much her skills have improved?"

Then, the Princess suddenly attacked the Master and there she called her, "Tai…Yang…"

The Master was shocked after hearing the name and suddenly was hit in the shoulder by the Princess. The Princess was just about to kill him when suddenly, A girl in black defended the Master.

The Girl attacked the Princess and they fought using their swords. Meanwhile, the Master was looking at the Princess with confusion, "How did she knew my name?"

Xiexie heard Taiyang's mumbling and then he tried to stop them from fighting. However, Xiexie couldn't even get near them. Until a dark force flow through the Princess's body and everyone got scared of what's happening.

The Princess was floating in the air with a ray of Moon's light falling on her. She was going to hurt everyone near her, Taiyang slowly walked towards her and she attacks him with small pieces of stones that were flying around her, which gave him scratches all over his body. But Taiyang did not stop until he jumped at her and hugged her.

The Princess saw Taiyang's eyes and her dark force is slowly vanished and then the Princess passed out. Taiyang grabbed the Princess with care and brought her back to her bedchamber for her to take a rest.

Taiyang called the girl in black and said,

"Lilia, tell the elders that I need to talk to them."

"Yes, your highness."

Xiexie heard the girl calling him his highness and asked in panic,

"Your High…ness!? Who are you really? Why did that girl call you 'Your Highness'!?"

Taiyang did not answer Xiexie's question and he just hand-chopped him in the back of his neck for him to pass out and then left.

At night, Taiyang arrived at a mountain top where he usually come to talk to the elders. Taiyang kneeled before the three elders and said, "Greetings my elders."

"We were informed that you want something to ask?"

"Yes, I'd like to ask what is happening to the Princess?"

"It is nothing, that is just the cause of her dark force and the Chains of Demons reacting to her life force."

"Don't worry Taiyang, this is just the beginning of what we have started."

"I thought you said that the princess will not be hurt!"

Taiyang shouted to the elder and then Lilia tried to stop Taiyang for attacking the elders. The elders slowing walk toward Taiyang and said,

"My child, you don't have the rights to shout at us, remember how we saved you! You are nothing without us and you know this is for a good reason. We've planned this for a very long time."

"Enough of these discussions, go back to the Princess and be sure to help her become even more powerful!"

Then, the elders left.

"Why! Do you care for the Princess that much! You even stopped me from killing her and switched places with me!" Lilia said.

Taiyang held her neck and said "Stay away from the Princess! If you ever touch her again, I will kill you myself!"

Lilia was devastated after hearing those words from Taiyang, he is her childhood friend and her secret crush. He always defended her from bullies when they were little and saved her many times during their missions.

Next day, Xiexie slowly woke up and immediately checked on the Princess, he saw that she is sleeping peacefully. He tried to remember what happened last night but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't recall what happened.

The night that Taiyang punched Xiexie, he cast a spell on him to erase his memories on the incidents that happened after hearing his name.

Xiexie went back to the library to return to studies like it was just another normal day. While Taiyang stayed at the Princess's bedchamber, looking at her while slowly touching her face with sadness.

"What is happening?" His asked in his mind.

The princess slowly woke up after some time and saw that Taiyang is at her bedside.

"Master?" She looked around and tried to sit.

"Master, what just happened?"

"You don't remember anything?"

The princess shook her head.

"You…" Taiyang was about to explain everything happened and then he remembered how the Princess looked like while attacking them so instead he said,

"You passed out after what happened."

"What happened master? The last thing I remembered is that an assassin attacked me while I'm about to sleep."

"Don't think too much, maybe it's because you were frightened after what happened. Okay? Also, the King agreed that I will be your master and I will be staying here in the Palace."

"Really!?"

The Princess was so happy after hearing those words and then he hugged him.

"She doesn't even remember my name?" Taiyang was thinking of what's happening to the princess.
