The Blessings from the Elder

The Little Princess kept on running around and playing with other disciples. The disciples where happy to accommodate her, as the little princess gave everyone a positive energy and happiness. While the little princess is playing with the disciples, Lilia went to the room of the unconscious princess. She stood beside her and held her hand. "Your highness, if you can hear me, please… wherever you are, I hope you are alright and safe. I don't know what's happening but, I hope Master Bai can save you. You know what? I never thought of taking care of a child and the funny thing is, that child is my rival for the prince's heart. But I don't know why I don't feel hatred toward you. I'm sorry that I tried to kill you before but, I hope that you understand. I did that for the sake our Prince."

As Lilia stood by her side, the Little Princess entered the room and heard it. "Who is she?"

Lilia looked at the Little Princess in shock. "Your Highness! This is…"

"Is she my other half?"

"O-other half?"

"Yes. After I got out from the darkness, I saw a reflection of me and told me to look for her. Then, I noticed that my forehead has a ⃝ symbol and it glowed for a few seconds. But then it halved and suddenly disappeared."

After Lilia heard of the Little Princess's story, she checked the forehead of the unconscious princess but, she saw nothing.

"Princess, do you want to eat Lotus Soup? I will cook it for you."

"Oh really? Okay!"

Then, they went to the kitchen and Lilia cooked the soup for the Princess. They both were happy cooking together. Lilia taught the Little Princess to also cook it.

"Here you go Princess. Have a taste."

"Hmmm! This is so delicious Lilia! Thank you!"

"Your welcome Princess. Just let me know if you want me to cook it for you again."

"Okay!"

Lilia smiled while looking at the Little Princess who was full of hope and positivity. She even stood beside her until she fell asleep. After the princess fell asleep, she went outside and took a walk along the garden and suddenly, she felt a strange energy around her. A few blurred visions appeared in her mind and saw something, "What is this? Arrrgggh!! My head! It hurts!"

Feng Yuixen heard Lilia and he immediately ran towards her. "Lady Lilia!"

She saw Yuixen and then she passed out. Gladly, Yuixen came right on time to catch her from falling. He carried Lilia to her room. He stood beside her until morning.

"Arggh, my head. What happened? Yuixen?"

"My Lady, your awake. Hold on, I will bring you your breakfast."

"Thank you Yuixen."

Later on, Yuixen came back. He gave the food to Lilia and asked her. "What happened my lady? I saw you passed out."

"I…I don't know. I was just walking and then suddenly, I felt a strange energy. After that, my head began to hurt."

"It seems your condition is getting worse. By the way, a Falcon came it is on the Platform."

"Thank you Yuixen, can you help me go to the Platform? That Falcon is very important."

Yuixen helped Lilia to go to the Platform and took the message tied to falcon's leg. Lilia read the letter.

"My Lady, who's that from?"

"It's from someone that can help us."

Lilia immediately wrote a response letter and placed it on the falcon. Then, the falcon flew up into the sky.

Meanwhile at Penglai,

"Elder Lu, I already packed the necessities for the journey."

"Hmm, alright. Let's go. I will guide you to the entrance of the Dragon's Core."

"Yes, Elder."

Both Elder Lu and Taiyang stood beside the river while waiting for the Boat. Elder Lu asked him about his decision.

"Child, do you really want to cultivate in Dragon's Core?"

"Yes Elder, I really need it."

"Even when you don't have an idea if you will live or not?"

"I am ready for whatever to come. But I must live for the sake of everyone."

Elder Lu just stared at Taiyang and decided to give him a blessing.

"I will give you something."

Taiyang kneeled in front of Elder Lu and then Lu cast a spell on him. A light shone brightly and Taiyang's sword- Sorrow, turned into golden color.

"This blessing will help you in your training at Dragon's Core."

"Thank you Elder."

Then, a boat arrived. Both of them got on and it sailed to an Island that is called Volcano Island among the cultivators. The boat harbored in that island and Elder Lu got off and walked toward the center of the island with Taiyang following right behind him.

After they arrived at the center, Taiyang saw a portal drawn in the middle of a platform. It was the portal that led to the Dragon's Core secret realm.

"Here we are child. This portal is the entrance to the Dragon's Core."

"Thank you Elder."

Taiyang was about to pass through the portal but, Elder Lu stopped him and told me to be careful.

"I will be back Elder."

"I will wait for you here in case of an enemy tries to destroy the portal."

"Enemy?"

"Whenever the portal gets activated and someone enters, a bunch of demons that are sealed inside the volcano comes out to destroy the portal. Every time the Portal opens, the seal holding the demons imprisoned is also weakened. For there seal to be completely broken, the portal must also be destroyed. So, I will hold them off until the portal closes."

"You mean, the reason that you came along with me is because of that?"

"Yes. Now, go."

"Are you sure you're going to be alright Elder?"

"I will, now focus on your cultivation inside. You must return alive, understood?"

"I will."

Taiyang went through the Portal and the demons sealed inside came out of the Volcano. They flew toward the portal but, Elder Lu cast a barrier around it. Then, he began to fight the demons.

The demons will only go back inside the volcano once the portal is closed again. The portal will be closed when the individual or group who entered the secret realm all either came out alive or died inside.

The longer Taiyang stayed inside, the longer Elder Lu had to defend the portal from the outside.

"Princess, please be safe and wait for me." Taiyang whispered to himself while travelling through the portal.
