"mom Joan seems to get a lot of suitors in our school, I won't be surprise if Joan starts dating" Nick said during dinner


"what? Joan can't date she's very young and you why are you talking like you don't care. you're Joan's older brother you should protect her from these boys. I raised you better than that" Nick's mom said


"but Mom I'm just one year older than Joan and besides she can make her own decisions" Nick said


his parents wanted him to be her brother but he had never seen her like that, that time when he told them about Joan's suitors, even he was part,  that time he became angry when they wanted him to be her brother because he didn't see her as such and he didn't know when he fell for her


"yh you, you know what I am getting tired of this, why don't you tell them that you are a grown up now so you can be responsible for yourself and that they should leave me alone" Nick said.


no he was angry at himself, he wanted Joan to relinquish him from that role of a brother. that was his anger that time


"just this once, maybe I am just curious.... just this once and it won't happen again and this feeling might stop" he said to himself and kissed her but that was a mistake he shouldn't have done his feelings grew stronger and he wanted to do more as they grew.


"oh Joan you shouldn't, if you know what I want to do to you, you wouldn't trust me"

"aww Joan, come sit close to me" Kimmy said


Kimmy was sitting close to Nick, he had to make space for her to sit down, he cleared his throat and didn't look at Joan.


Kimmy hugged Joan and then smiled at her
