when he got there, Joan was sleeping, he stayed by her side

"how's she" Fred asked

"I don't know, they said the doctor will be here very soon"

"Nick, what happened to her" Kimmy asked

but Nick was silent

later the doctor arrived and

"she's just stressed and I hope whatever is stressing her should stop, it's not good for her and her baby. she needs rest" the doctor said

"thanks doctor" Nick said and the doctor left

"I knew it!!!!'' Kimmy said to Fred with excitement

"Nick did you here what the doctor said" Fred asked

"he said she needs rest and shouldn't be stressed" he said and went to sit besides her

"he didn't get it, he only heard the part that was important to him her." Fred said softly to Kimmy

"how could the baby not be important to him, he's just worried about her" Kimmy said

"Nick!!!!" Kimmy shouted

"why are you shouting my name and besides we are in the hospital" Nick asked

"she's pregnant"

"whose pregnant"

"your wife is pregnant"

"the doctor said right now"

Nick got out and went to the doctor to confirm and he did with excitement he went back to the room to see Joan awake, he kissed her and thanked her
