Chapter 4 - Hand of The Order
(8:00AM) (May 5th, 1985)
{HAND OF THE ORDER}

(It was a Sunday morning. Elena had called)
(Duncan out on a date...)
DUNCAN:Uhm... Thomas, I'm leaving. (Took his coat)...
THOMAS:You need me to drive you there or what?
DUNCAN:(Smiling)...
THOMAS:Oh... I just realized you're faster than a car.
(Sat down with disappointment)....
DUNCAN:Okay(wore his boots)See you... Although I don't know when(Smiles).

(Duncan sped off)...
He never allows me to complete my words(Sighs).
{ELENA'S HOUSE}
(Duncan arrived at her door[10 seconds])...
DUNCAN:Here I go(adjusted his clothing).
(Hits the door bell)....
ELENA:Patience!
(Hurried to the door and opened it)...
DUNCAN:(Stammering)Uhm.. He...
ELENA:(Embraced him)Oh thank God you're here.
DUNCAN:(Confused)Huh? Is something wrong?
ELENA:(Smiling in an awkward manner)I was so bored. I didn't know what else to do.
DUNCAN:(Smiled)Okay.. So...
ELENA:(Grabbed his hands)Come in(Smiling).
(They got into the house)...
ELENA:(Smiling)So.. What do you wanna do?(Sat down on a couch)Uhm.. We could watch a movie or take a walk around the city. It's your call(Winks at him).
DUNCAN:(Sat beside her and put his hands around her waist)Option one or two(smiling at her).
ELENA:(Wraps her hands around his shoulder)Well, I choose option one but after a while.. We'll move on to option three(pecks his cheek).
DUNCAN:(Confused)Is there an option three?
ELENA:(Pulls him to the couch)Why don't you wait and find out?(Winks at him).
DUNCAN:(Smiling)Your eyes are so seductive, you know?
ELENA:(Turned on the TV)After all, we are connected(smiling).
(She placed her head on his chest)....
DUNCAN:Are you sure we're meant to be watching a romantic movie?
ELENA:(Placed a finger at his mouth)Shush!(Smiling).
DUNCAN:(Pulls her closer to him)I love you(kissed her forehead).
ELENA:(Looking into his eyes)You don't have to tell me. I know that already. By the way, have I told you?
DUNCAN:(Anxious)Tell me what?
ELENA:(Kissed his lips gently)I love you(placed her head on his chest).
{CENTRAL PARK}
{2:00PM}
{Tyler and Robert are both out on a mission to find a psychotic killer(Ex-convict)who has been killing scientists about few weeks}
ROBERT:(In a disguise)What you got,T?
(Reading newspaper)
(Talking to him through earbug)...
TYLER:(On a roller coaster)It's clear up here. Dude's seriously making his move slowly. At this rate,I'm afraid the mission's gonna fail(using binoculars)
(In a disguise)...
ROBERT:(Stands up)Not unless we find a decoy(Fake scientist).
TYLER: Hey dude! What're you planning to do? Rob..Hey!(No response from him)Oh,fuck it!(Worried). Where the hell are you Rob?(Using binoculars).
ROBERT:(Entered their van and came out dressed like a scientist)Let's give this a shot,shall we?(Wore spectacles).
(He walked back into the park)...
TYLER:(Spotted the target)Oh no!He's heading towards the "Haunted House"
(Using binoculars). Where the hell is Robert?(Worried).
ROBERT:(Turned on his ear bug)T,I'm set.
TYLER:You gotta be careful,Rob. Target's gone"scarytown".
ROBERT:What? When did he get in there?
(Worried).
TYLER:About a minute ago.
ROBERT:Fuck! I thought I told you to keep an eye out(Running towards its direction).
TYLER:Well,I was...until you scared the shit outta me(Arguing)!
ROBERT:(Running)Thanks but no thanks! Excuse me...out of the way(Bending in)...
TYLER:That was a compliment or what? Where you going?(Curious)
(Using binoculars to watch Robert)...
ROBERT:You're really distracting you know?(Turned his earbug off).
TYLER:Rob!Hey,Rob!Hey!You gotta be kidding me(Couldn't see him anymore).

{ELENA'S HOME}
{Duncan carried Elena to her room since she was already fast asleep while she was watching the TV}....
{ELENA'S ROOM}
DUNCAN:(Dropped her gently on the bed and covered her with a blanket)You do look angelic while sleeping(Sat beside her staring at her). I'm glad I got to know you(Kissed her forehead). I hope you had a nice date(Smiled at her).
(He speeds away)...

(Robert entered the house)...
ROBERT:I never imagined that I would be in a place meant for kids(Silently).
(Everywhere covered in darkness)...
I should probably use my"Night vision Googles"(Wore it and turned it on).
(Searching for him...walked upstairs)...

(ROLLER COASTER)
TYLER:I should probably stay here,I think.(After a moment of silence)Argh!Naughty conscience!
(He got off and ran towards the house).

[HAUNTED💀HOUSE]
(Doors creaking...bats screeching...birds howling..voices laughing hysterically)...
ROBERT:(Using Night Vision)I know that none of this is real. It's all for kids(Scared).
(Walking)....(Tyler touched him)...
Ah!(Scared).
TYLER:Hey dude!(Calms him down)It's me(silently).
ROBERT:(Heaved a heavy sigh)You scared the shit outta me(Whispers)!
TYLER:That's what you get in return. Déjâ Vų(A French word for the same situation occurring repeatedly).
ROBERT:Fuck that! The hell did you follow me?(Whispers)You're only gonna distract me!
TYLER:Hey,I only came here to help out. Besides,I wasn't the one who decided to go"Captain Mad Genius"(Whispers).
ROBERT:(Speechless)...
TYLER:(Whispers)So...you got him yet?
ROBERT:Not yet...but I can feel his heartbeat(Whispers).
TYLER:Where?(Curious).
ROBERT:(Whispers)Right behind that door(Pointing towards it).
(Door creaks)....
TYLER:(Moves closer to him)So what's the plan?(Whispering).
ROBERT:(Whispers)Don't worry dude...I got the perfect one(Smiling).
TYLER:(What the hell is he up to?)...
ROBERT:Watch(smiles).
(He stealthily walked to the door and locked it)...
JOHN(PSYCHOPATH): Hey! Someone out there? (Hitting the door with a rod).
ROBERT: (Used a voice modifier) Welcome to my lair! (In a distorted voice).
TYLER: (In a distorted voice) Now...it's time for you..to die! (Laughing hysterically).
JOHN: Hey! What the hell is going on? (Confused and terrified)Are you trying to scare me? Remember...I'm the scary one(Scratching his hair).
ROBERT: (Whispers)Now,open the door(Nods his head positively).
TYLER: Right!(Whispers).
(Tyler opened the door in a hurry and quickly hid behind a wall)...(Robert stealthily hid in the shadows).
JOHN:(Walked out) Come out come out wherever you are! You asshole! Where are you? I am John Kyleach!
(Voice echoes down the hallway)...
(Robert electrocuted him from behind).
ROBERT:(Smiling) And that's how it's done.
(John was knocked out cold)...
TYLER: I'm gonna admit it. You're really good at this(Bumpfists him).
ROBERT: Now let's get our psycho to L.P.D (Louisiana Police Department).
TYLER: You sure we wanna do that? He got away once!(Trying to convince him).
ROBERT: Sure he did...but I'm sure precautions are in order(smiling).
(Tyler walked through the door and brought back a strange looking picture).
TYLER: Hey Rob! Know who this is?(Curious)...
ROBERT:(Collected it)No idea dude. It doesn't ring a bell(Nods his head negatively).
TYLER: Either way...no matter who this is,it's gotta have something to do with the recent murders(in a serious tone).
ROBERT: I'm glad it's over now(sigh)...
TYLER:(Smiling)So am I.
ROBERT: Now..let's get the target out of this shithole(drags him outside).
TYLER:(Hits his forehead) He might be a master criminal but he's still human you know? You could atleast...carry him(hesitates).
ROBERT:(Faced Tyler)What part of the law states that a psycho is human?(Trying to confuse him)...
TYLER:(Speechless)...
ROBERT:(Continues to drag him) Time is not on our side. Let's get moving!(Both walked towards the exit).

(Principal Thwart had called for an emergency convergence)...
(Students mummering).
HENRY:(Walked up to the podium)Good morning students(smiling).
(They maintained perfect decorum)...
ALL:(In response) Morning Sir Thwart!
HENRY:(Smiling)Thank you children. As you know..our school has been one of the very best in the country and even though we are short handed,we prevail. Well,I know some of you might have noticed the special guest among us(laughing).It's alright children..he's not as scary as he looks. Today, I have come here to announce to you all the new Hand of Order...
(Walking to the podiun)
(Henry steps back a little creating a position for him to stand and present himself)...
Aleiska Jaime!(Smiling).
(Students clapping and cheering)...
JAIME: Enough!(In a cold manner)That's okay please(faking a smile).
(Everywhere became silent)...
My name is Aleiska Jaime(smiling). I know I am new here but as the new Hand of Order...(walking back and forth on the podium)I will now set down a few rules and regulations which I recommend you all follow. First of all, no one but be found engaging in secret activities. In other words, no student must have an extracurricular activity. Also, you mustn't been seen walking in groups and finally...I want you all to know that the prom night and music classes are all cancelled with immediate effect. No students must be seen or caught violating any of the rules(smiling).
(Students mummering)...
HENRY:(Shouts)Silence!!!
(Everyone became quiet)...
JAIME:(Clears his throat) Thank you Mr Thwart(smiles at him). As I was saying,you must not be seen in a secluded environment with an opposite sex..alone(smirk). So..these are simple rules right? I know you're all good children so I really hope you will all behave as expected and abide by the rules.
ROBERT:(Whispers) Hell no!
ALL:(In response)Yes sir!
(Mummering)...
HENRY:(Smiling and clapping) Thank you Sir Jaime.
(Students clapping)...
JAIME:(Gives him a handshake) Pleasure is all mine Mr Thwart.
(Walked down the podium)...
DUNCAN:(Opened his eyes in suspense) This is..one...bad..man.
(Thirty minutes later)...

{MAIN BUILDING}

(Elevator Opens)...
ELENA:(Furious) I can't believe he said all that! What does he think we are...puppets?(Rhetorically).
(Walking with Duncan)...
DUNCAN:(Trying to convince her) I actually think he's just trying to blend in. It's all an act if you think about it.
ELENA: But...
(Elevator opens)
TYLER:(Walked to his chambers)Hey guys.
KYLE:(Yawning) Such a tiring day(walks to the gallery).
ROBERT:(Walking towards his bike) It's still morning!(Shouts out to Kyle).
JASON:(Taps Duncan's shoulder) Hey dude!(Smiles in a cunning manner).
JACKSON:(Scrolling down on his phone)...(Walked to his chambers).
DUNCAN: I kinda wish I could punch that guy(Jason).
ELENA: Just..forget it.(Grabs his hand)Come with me(smiling).
DUNCAN: I know that look(hesitates). Are you trying to get me in trouble or out of one?(Raised an eyebrow).
ELENA: Maybe..or maybe not. Only one way to find out(winks at him).
(She ran off)...
DUNCAN:(Sigh) I'm so in trouble.
(He ran after her)...
[VICE-ORDER'S OFFICE]
{09:45PM}
(Jaime is having a phone conversation)
JAIME:(In a serious tone) I got into Verility. I will begin my search for the Percival.
??:(~Static[Voice frequency unclear]) Yes Lord Blood.
JAIME:(Sat on his chair and spins it facing it towards the window[staring at the moon]) Prepare the army and the portal. The time is near.
??:(~Static[Voice frequency unclear]) As you wish Lord Blood!
