"Does it taste savory, or sweet? Or maybe like sour candy? Eh, I don't know exactly what you are craving right now. But I know one thing for sure, you must have liked it, since you didn't complain." Ying pointed out, before sitting back in his seat. Jingfei stared down at the bloody soup that he was drinking. When did he finish the ramen?
"If it makes you feel better, the human consented." Ying pointed out. Jingfei only had one thing to say. "I'm really a vampire, aren't I?" He whispered softly, looking up at Wei, who was staring down at the bowl. He looked up at Jingfei, nodding. "Yeah, you are. I know it's going to be a rough start, but you are going to get through it." Wei smiled.
Ying tipped the bowl over. "It's going to get cold if you don't drink the rest of it. I promise it's going to taste disgusting if it gets cold. You shouldn't eat it like that. Just drink it now." Ying said, tapping the ring of the bowl. Jingfei was still hesitant but slowly lifted the bowl to his lip, tipping it forward to allow the cooled liquid to flow.
The taste seems to go by so fast. That was it. It was there, and then it wasn't. Jingfei frowned, staring down at the floor. "Not satisfying. You can't wait." Ying smiled, before leaning back. Jingfei silently placed the bowl down, before covering his mouth. "I just ate a human, oh my god…" Wei clicked his tongue. "Stop thinking that. Vampires don't kill people, well most don't. Instead, we simply take a certain amount of blood from them, before leaving. Humans won't even be hurt."
"Sometimes, if a vampire is very good, they might even feel pleasure," Ying added, grabbing the bowl. Jingfei slowly nodded. "Are there rules, do I need to wait until someone invites me into a house?" Jingfei asked. Wei sighed, shaking his head. "That was the one thing the media actually got wrong about us."
Ying, from the kitchen, laughs. "If everyone had to invite us in, vampires would be extinct. I believe humans would be too." Ying snickered. Jingfei slowly nodded. He barely grasped the fact that he was a vampire in the first place. But now the fact is that there were rules that Jingfei had to follow. "You shouldn't go into the sunlight. Not without a crystal on your neck.." Wei warns.
Ying snapped his fingers, peeking his head from behind the kitchen walls. "I know what it is like as a human. You can go out, without even wearing sunscreen. But please be careful, remember about that. Or just always have your stone on." Ying explained, before leaning back into the kitchen.
Jiongfei looked concerned, rubbing his forearms as he looked at Wei. "So, I would burn if I walk out into the sun?" Wei nodded. "It is a dangerous one. You can die if you stay out for too long. It used to be a torture weapon." Wei informed, crossing his legs. Jingfei widened his eyes, but nodded. "You are a vampling, so you'll need lots of blood. Before Dying can teach you how to hunt, just come by my house. I'll show you where it is tomorrow."
Jingfei sighs. Blood, sun, he could handle this. He should be able to handle this. But maybe he's wrong. Jingfei was just too scared to not find out if he couldn't. "Don't eat human food, especially when you become a full vampire. Right now, it's fine, since your body is still morphing into its vampire form, but after, you can't eat it." Jingfei looked confused. "What, why?"
Ying walked out, crossing his arms. "Nothing bad will happen, you'll just be sick. For a while." Ying explains, before tapping the clothes. "Come on, I want to get you in the shower before my couch gets soaked with blood. And Wei seems hungry." Ying smiled, grabbing the clothes for Jingfei. Wei rolled his eyes. "What, are you scared of me licking him? Remember who the elder vampire is." Wei sighed.
Ying only shrugged and smiled. "I know, but I am your protege."

Jingfei woke up without the rest of the world. The room seemed pitch black. Jingfei had never slept on someone's couch before, but if this was how it felt, he never wanted to sleep on someone else's couch again.
Jingfei groaned, feeling something heavy on his neck. He sat up, a cold stone falling due to gravity. It was a rock. A dark red color, with a geometric shape. It seemed like it was carved similarly to a canine. Jingfei took note to ask Wei and Ying about it later. Jingfei needed an entire recap of yesterday. No, something better.
He needed coffee.
Jingfei sat up, groaning as his muscles clicked back into place. Ironically, they felt more alive than ever. He wasn't tired, nor was he weak in any way. However, one thing he ws, was starving. He felt like hadn't eaten in days, even though he had food yesterday. He felt like he was starving, forgetting what food tasted like. What blood- stop. He couldn't think about that. Jingfei stood from his seat, yawning. He had taken a shower and slept over at Ying's apartment. He didn't exactly go to sleep at first, his mind keeping his body awake, but soon he drifted.
The curtains didn't let any light in, yet Jingfei could see everything. It was very magical, something Jingfei didn't think he could ever experience. He walked around barefoot around the halls. "Wei? Ying?" Jingfei called. He leaned inside Ying's bedroom where both men slept, however, no one was there. He frowned. Where could the two have gone?
Just then, a subtle smell floated into his nose. It was sweet, thickly sweet. Seemingly surrounding the room in minutes. It added only nostalgia to Jingfei's brain. It was warm and fluffy, sweet and soft like flowers. Yet it weighed on Jingfei like bricks. The vampling quickly looked around for the source of such a sweet and intoxicating scent.
Jingfei looked at the door before dashing it, eyes red and mind blurry.
In a matter of seconds, he wasn't in control of his body anymore.
