Jingfei tightened the trousers to his waist. He was in the bathroom, having just taken a shower. But, he wasn't looking at the mirror, instead walking around. There was a soft tap on the door. "Come on or I'm leaving you." Chan said, before seemingly walking away. Jingfei rolled his eyes, sliding the cardigan over his lace shirt.
He combed his hands through his light brown hair, before grabbing his bag. Ying had let Jingfei use his duffle bag, since Jingfei didn't exactly bring a suitcase with him. He stepped out of the bathroom, right as Yang walked by the hall. He smiled, waved at Jingfei, before continuing to walk. Jingfei wouldn't lie, he was definitely getting used to things. Including the smell.
He walked out, looking towards Chan. "I'm craving a burger. Like, a nice American burger. Just me?" Jingfei asked, swinging the bag over his shoulder. Chan shrugged, standing up. "We can always go get some. You know, I heard about a place called food…. Palace-" "Burger King…. It's called Burger King, Chan. God, you know sometimes I forget just how old you are.." Yang says, shaking his head.
Wei peeks his head out. "No one is going there. You two will throw up for days." Wei scolds, before going back into the kitchen. "What? I'm still a vampling though? Chan can't eat any human food, but can't I-" Wei gave him a glare, telling Jingfei to shut up. He turned around to Chan looking at him sneakily. A look that said 'we are totally still doing that.' Jingfei shook his head.
Ying walked out, his small satchel in his hands instead of over his shoulder. He smiled while looking at Jingfei. "You look very nice." Ying complimented, placing a hand on Jingfei's shoulder. He lightly brushed off any lint from his cardigan, before stepping back. He turned to Chan. "When I said you could go, you do understand I was kidding right?" Ying asked, crossing his arms.
Chan rolled his eyes, standing up. Yang stayed seated, playing on Chan's phone. "Yeah, yeah. You hate me, I get it. Let's go ship my child off to the real world." Jingfei looked at Chan weirdly. "I'm… no one's child. But, Ying was the one to bite me." Jingfei shrugged. "Wei, do you have the-'' Wei walked out, in his casual attire. Which consisted of a turtleneck and plaid trousers.
Very casual, obviously.
"Yes, I do." He looked at Jingfei strictly. "I should see you everyday at exactly eight a.m, okay? You should have enough for the day, and next morning. Until Ying teaches you how to hunt of course. But, understand?" Wei said strictly. Jingfei quickly nodded. Wei smiled softly. "I'll spam you if you don't. And don't go out of the city. And don't go anywhere more than thirty minutes away." Wei sighed, crossing his arms. "I get that it's a lot of restrictions, but just like how you're worried of snapping, so are we." Wei explained.
Jingfei understood and nodded. He adjusted the duffle bag on his shoulder. "I understand." Jingfei nodded. He smiled softly at Wei, who smiled back. "Your teeth are growing in quite nicely, I must say." Wei compliments, before looking back at Ying. "You two ready?" Jingfei turned around, watching Ying nod his head. "Yeah, might as well go now." Ying said. Yang looked up from Chan's phone. "Wait, really? Am I going to see you again?" Chan asked, standing up.
He walked over to Jingfei, frowning slightly. He was only a year younger than Jingfei, having turned eight-teen a couple of months ago. Jingfei scoffed and shook his head. "No, of course not. I'll be here a lot." Jingfei answered, smiling. He hugged Yang's side for a moment before letting go. He turned to Ying, nodding his head. "Everyone is acting like I'm disappearing. I'll be back tomorrow." Jingfei smiles.
Wei shrugged. "But being gone and coming back is different than just living here. Plus I won't be a good taste tester." Wei shrugged. Yang turned. "You have me!" Yang pointed out. "For vamp food." Chan turned around, obviously offended. "Hello, I'm right here." Wei took a second, pinching his nose and shaking his head. It seemed Wei needed more time away than Jingfei. "I need someone who doesn't dislike everything." Wei sighed. Ying laughed. "I'll be here enough for you to give me the weirdest recipes." Jingfei said.
Ying sighed, rolling his eyes. He grabbed Jingfei's hand, pulling him towards the exit. "Let's go." Ying said impatiently. Jingfei smiled, waving once more before walking out, Ying beside him. Chan walked out last, shutting the door behind him. He looked over at Jingfei, beginning to walk beside the other. "You are starting to become a fan favorite." Jingfeio looked over. "To everyone besides Jiangshi. He hates me." Jingfei frowned.
Ying laughed, looking out towards the cars. "He hates everyone he first meets." Ying explains simply, his hands behind his back. Chan, however, had his in his pockets. "But, he's more of a vampire than us. Always hides, and in the weirdest places. Once, while Ying was-" Ying striked Chan in the stomach, causing the vampire to hit him and jump back slightly. The amazing part, vampires are supposed to have higher pain tolerance.
"So dramatic." Jingfei smiled, while Ying glared at Chan. "Don't even think about it." Ying muttered, continuing to stare daggers through Chan. Chan only smiled, looking over at Jingfei. "Don't worry, I'll call you later." Chan whispered, though it was loud enough for Ying to hear. Before a chaotic war broke out, Jingfei stepped in between them. He looked over at Ying. 'It's okay, he can't call me. I don't have a phone, remember?" Jingfei smiled, tapping his noggin slightly. Ying snapped his fingers, seemingly remembering something, before digging into his satul, which was now on his shoulder.
It took him a second, but soon enough he found a small silver box. He hands it to Jingfei. At first, the vampling didn't know what it was, fumbling the box in his hands. But Chan obviously quickly gave away the answers to Jingfei's questions. "Is that a phone?" Chan asked. Jingfei looked up, his eyes widening. He looked at Ying. "You got me a phone?" Jingfei asked. He was concerned with how Ying spent his money. Especially how it was on him.
"Yes, I did. Because I said I would. I don't want to hear anything else." Ying said, tilting his head to the sky. Jingfei was ready to say something, but Chan tapped his shoulder. "Is this your place?" Chan asked. Jingfei turned, and Chan was right. It was. Ying pointed a quick finger at Ying, before walking up to the condo-like apartment. He didn't know how close they were to his apartment, but he wasn't mad. It was a quick walk. He softly knocked on the door, before stepping back.
The door slowly opened, to reveal a half-sleep Bambang. He rubbed his eyes, scanning the outside before going to Jingfei. He smiled, waving. "Hey, you're back." Bambang said, reaching out for a hug, but quickly, Chan grabbed the back of Jingfei's cardigan, pulling him slightly off the step. Jingfei fell, only for Chan to quickly catch him. "Careful, he had silver rings on." Chan whispered quickly into Jingfei's ear. "What did I say about you falling everywhere? No wonder you're sick." Chan said at full volume. Jingfei quickly uprighted himself, his eyes going to Bambang's hand, and Chan was right. Silver rings.
He frowned softly at Bambang. "Sorry, I'm sick. I don't think hugging is a good idea."
