Wei sighed after having cleaned the blood that had previously dripped onto the floor. Yang had asked for help, but Wei only lightly shook his head. Yang sat down next to him, while Chan stayed standing. "So.. what now?" Yang asked, tilting his head up to the ceiling. The room was silent for a moment, before Bambang spoke to you. "You three and the other one need to get home. I have to go to work tomorrow." Bambang muttered, but Yang looked up. "What, to go to the council? What are you going to do there, complain?" Yang asked, his eyes going up to the ceiling.
Bambang looked down at Yang, with a somewhat shocked expression. "Your welcome, by the way. Jingfei almost hurt you."Bambang huffed, sitting down onto the floor. He grabbed the knife, looking at the stained blood from Jingfei's palm. Yang finally looked down at Bambang, crossing his arms. "I could fight vampires just as good as you, the only difference is that I don't need silver weapons to do so." Yang pointed out, giving Bambang a sarcastic smile.
Wei lightly grabbed Yang's arm, just as a warning. Yang looked down, before his eyes went up to Wei's, which the elder vampire gave him a patient look. Yang sighed, before crossing his arms, looking down into his lap. "You don't fight, kiddo. You are just running away. Very different." Bambang said, placing the knife down. He laid on the ground, his eyes shut. Yet there still was a smile on his face.
"But, I wanna know. What is a young kid like you doing with them?" Bambang asked, his eyes opening to look at Yang, who looked back. Yang scoffed, rolling his eyes. "Them? I'm going to assume you're talking about vampires? I don't hang around them. I hang around Wei, Chan, and Ying because they are fun to talk to. Them being a vampire is just a part of themselves." Yang explained.
Bambang kept his smile as he spoke. "And you're okay with that part. You're okay with them killing your own kind? Do you just hate humans that much? Maybe that's why they don't take you seriously." Bambang said, standing up. Yang was silent, his lips going from a soft frown into a thin line. Bambang didn't know what he was talking about, that was obvious. If he did, he wouldn't be talking like that.
"Really? They don't even hurt humans. If they didn't then I wouldn't be around them. But I know they aren't like that. You seem to have that idea about my friends stuck in your brain." Yang said, standing up as well. He was about the same height as Bambang, his blue eyes staring into Bambang's bright green. He didn't have a smile on his face anymore, instead an annoyed expression, with a hand combing through his long brown and red hair.
"Well, your friends turned mine."
"They're sorry? Would you rather have him dead on the pavement-"
"Yang!" Chan said harshly, causing Yang to look over at him. He wasn't mad, but he was disappointed by Yang's words. The boy stepped back, looking down at the ground. Bambang stared at Yang, both in shock and anger. "He was… dead. On the pavement?" Bambang asked, his voice soft yet demanding. Wei sighed. "He was run over by a car." Wei said softly, looking up at Bambang with a patient expression as well. Wei had aced that expression a long time ago it seemed.
Bambang looked towards the stairs, but before he could walk towards it, Chan grabbed onto Bambang's hand. "Come on, let's go." Chan sighed, pulling Bambang towards the door. Bambang pulled back, but his human strength was nothing compared to Chan's. "I'm taking him out to the bar." Chan said. Bambang widened his eyes, before beginning to pull harder. "I am underage, I can't go to the bar. Let me go!" Bambang yelled, but Chan didn't. Yang smiled, leaning forward slightly. He waved teasingly to Bambang. "Have fun." He smiled.
Wei slapped Yang's arm as Bambang and Chan disappeared into darkness. Yang sighed, crossing his arms. "You shouldn't have said that." Wei scolded, looking over at Yang, who frowned. "But he was ticking me off. You should be mad to, he wasn't disrespecting me." Yang said, huffing and turning to Wei. The other gave him a calm expression. "Bambang saying stuff about vampires won't hurt us. We're used to it. You shouldn't take it bad. And you shouldn't have said that to Bamban.''Wei said softly, frowning. Yang took a moment before understanding.
"Was I wrong, though?" Yang asked. He knew he sounded like a child but that didn't matter to him. "It doesn't matter if you are wrong or right, the problem is that you said that in the first place. That's none of your business." Wei scolded, as Yang looked down to the floor. He knew Wei was right, Wei was always right, but that still didn't change what Yang thought. However, before he could say anything, he heard footsteps.
Ying's footsteps made Yang turn around, seeming Ying and Bambang walking down the steps, Jingfei's hair covering his face. Yang instantly stood, but Wei didn't. He grabbed Yang's arm. "We'll talk about it later." Wei said, before letting Yang go. "Are you okay?" Yang asked quickly, walking over to the two. Jingfei only nodded, his head still lowered. Yang looked up at Ying, who only sighed. "I'm going to teach him how to hunt tomorrow night." Yin said quickly. Wei stood, widening his eyes. "What? You're going to teach him, why?"
"He wants to learn."
