Jingfei was quick, running up the stairs to get to Kai's apartment. He slammed his fist against the door, making sure not to break it. "Kai, answer now!" Jingfei yelled through the door. Jingfei needed to apologize right now, this instant. And if Kai wasn't home he didn't know what he would do. He continued slamming his fist against the door, at one point laying his head on the piece of wood. He placed his palm on the floor, sighing. "Kai.. please.." He had every right to be mad at jingfei. He didn't deserve to give an explanation. After all, he didn't give Kai one.
"What are you doing attacking my door?"
Jingfei quickly turned around to the sound of Kai's voice, seeing him calmly holding a bag of groceries. He didn't smile or laugh like other times, instead he looked bored. His baby blue eyes met Jingfei's red ones. His hair was longer, his brown roots more prominent than before. He had grown out his hair since the last time Jingfei saw him. His light lips here slightly chapped, his mouth in a dull thin line. Did he not want to see Jingfei? Did he not want to be around the boy? It was almost has if Jingfei was looking at a ghost. His vision blurry with tears.
Another boy walks out, blond hair and soft blue eyes. He looks up and smiles for a second, before going to a frown. The roots of his hair were both darker and blended in nicely with the surroundings. He had slightly sharp features, with light lips. He had a dark coat on top of his apron, however, he made sure it didn't cover it.
Jingfei really did hurt him."Can we talk for a moment?" Jingfei asked softly. Kai stared at him, giving the vampling a grim look. Kai walked past him, unlocking his door. Jingfei walked the human open the door, only to shut it once he was inside. A no. He didn't want to talk to Jingfei.
He knew it. He knew he had hurt Kai. He knew he had. And he knew he couldn't take it back. He shouldn't be allowed to. As JIngfei stared at the shut door, crystal tears flowed down his face, causing the boy to sniffle softly. This was all his fault. He pointed a gun at his best friend. He deserved way more than a shut door. Jingfei sighed, stepping back from the door. He whispered an apology, before walking down the steps. He looked back, multiple times to see if Kai was standing outside, watching him.
He waited to hear Kai's voice calling his name, or maybe the sound of the tv playing Slovenly Boy's Adventure. But he heard none of those. So Jingfei walked, each step ten times more painful then the last. His heart was heavy, finally pulling his optimistic love down to hell, where only the worst creatures sleep. JIngfei should be one of those creatures.
As soon as JIngfei walked out of the dull and empty hallway he was hit with a caring and loving hug. All he saw was red for a moment, before Lin Feng's eyes looked into his eyes. Lin Feng had a sad look on his face, and once he saw JIngfei's eyes with tears he only hugged tighter. For a moment, Jingfei couldn't hug Lin Feng back, the weight of his arms heavier than his love. But once he heard Lin Feng's words, he quickly did.
"It's going to be okay."

A Couple Of Days Ago
Kai pours coffee beans into the grinder, watching the brown beans turn to dust. The sound of the grinder filled the room, people chattering away their day to others. Lin Feng turns to Kai. "You know, I'm shocked about something." Kai didn't say anything to Lin Feng. He didn't want to talk to the vampire.
Lin Feng continues. "You're so nice to Jingfei, now. It's just incredible how nice you are to him all of a sudden." Kai only glances up to look at Lin Feng for a moment, before quietly taking out the crushed beans. "I wonder why.." Lin Feng says dramatically, tapping his chin. Kai looked up at the red haired vampire. "I can say the same to you. You used to hate him, but now you cling onto him like he's your blood source." Kai huffed, clicking a cup of coffee grounds into the machine. Lin Feng was quiet for a moment, before calmly adjusting his leather jacket.
"Can I ask you a question?" Lin Feng asked, with no sincerity in his voice. Kai stayed quiet for another moment, before huffing. "You already did." Kai pointed out, but LIn Feng casually kept going. "Do you like Jingfei?" Kai stared at the brown liquid dropping into the clear cup. He didn't dare look at Lin Feng, knowing the vampire had a smirk on his face.
Kai wasn't shocked that Lin Feng would know that, but he didn't say anything. He worried that he might have a rival, worried that he might have to go against the vampire standing next to him. Kai finally turned to Lin Feng defensively. "And? I know you like him too, what's your point?" Kai grumbled, taking the cup out of the machine. Lin Feng frowned slightly, not saying anything for a slight moment.
Oh Kai wished it was longer.
"Had a feeling." Lin Feng sighed. Kai lifted his head, looking over at Lin Feng. "I don't understand how you could love a guy that your so rude to." Kai said exasperatedly. Lin Feng stared at Kai, before rolling his eyes. "He obviously didn't take it seriously since he's still nice to me." Lin Feng said with a scoff.
Kai shrugged causally. "He's nice to everyone." Kai judged, sliding a pink drink forward towards the young girl waiting. Lin Feng snorted. "Some people don't deserve it." Lin Feng scoffed, walking back before Kai could say anything else. He huffed, rolling his eyes. He really did hate Lin Feng. And now he likes the same guy Kai did.
As Kai reached down to grab the cookies on display, a young man walked in through the doors. His hair was smoothly tucked behind his ear with his eyes a deep red, a vampire, His hair was brown, with layers of white between the common colors. His nose was curved and sharp, with his eyes feline-like.His face was with worry and horror as he talked with someone on the other side of the phone. "Keep him from bleeding." The man said quickly.
When his eyes went to Kai, he widened his eyes, beginning to run towards Kai. When the man was close enough, Kai could recognise him. He was one of Jingfei's friends. Who was he? Kai didn't know. However, his eyes were scattered. "Please tell me your Kai." The man begged, causing Kai to nod slowly.
"Jingfei needs your help. He's hurt, really bad. Wei isn't in the city right now and Ying isn't around. He told me that you have bandages at your house." Kai didn't know what to say. Is that who he was talking to on the phone. Kai breath was frozen as he listened to the vampire's quickened words. Kai instantly nodded his head. "Uh, yeah. Yeah it's in the bathroom, here." Kai reached in his pocket, giving the man his key. The man was talking on the phone to another person. "Put pressure on him to stop the bleeding."
