The room began to fill with silence. Not necessarily awkward silence, but silence nonetheless. Bambang sat down, looking towards the window, while Yang looked up at the ceiling. They both didn't break the silence right then, not yet. It was a still environment, and the sound of a voice would only shift the water. Yet that was why they were here, wasn't it?
"I'm… sorry…" Bambang mumbled. It wasn't necessarily hard to say that. Actually, it was somewhat easy, apologizing. He really shouldn't have said that. It was insensitive of him. Yang turned to him, not saying anything. "You know, I've kinda been in a situation similar to that. I guess I was made because you called me a traitor." Bambang mumbled. Yang continued to stare at him, before softly smiling.
He had never that Yang would ever smile like that to him. "It's okay. It didn't make me mad, I just- didn't expect it. And I'm sorry for calling you a traitor." "Were you wrong though?" Bambang asked with a smile, causing Yang to smile back. He laughed, shaking his head. "Yes, I was wrong. I'm happy that you somewhat changed your viewpoint on vampires." Yang laughed, leaning back slightly in the sun lit chair.
"I think we have both changed our viewpoints." Bambang stated simply, crossing his arms. Yang curiously tilts his head to the side, making Bambang laughs softly. "Our viewpoints? How?" Yang asked. Babang thought about his answer for a moment before smiling. "You've only been around good vampires till now. And I've only been around bad vampire." Bambang explaines.
Now that Bambang looked at Yang, he seemed a lot more like an adult than before. He held himself well, nodding along to Bambang's words. He didn't seem annoying, and took this conversation just as seriously as Bambang did. Even if the boy was still immature around the edges, it's obvious he's growing out of that.
"I can see that." Yang shrugged. His hair didn't cover his face, and he didn't slouch. His back was straight in the chair, which his hair pulled behind his ear. Yang casually stands up, adjusting his shirt. "Can we stop arguing. It honestly gets on my nerves a little bit." He said with fake sarcasm. Bambang was about to say yes and have this conversation be over with, but there was one more question he needed to ask.
"Be honest with me. Do you like Chan? Like, love him?" Bambang asked, his voice softening in case JIngfei was listening. Yang stared at him, before slowly sitting back down. The blue eyed boy didn't say anything to him, swallowing slowly. He seemed nervous, but also.. He seemed.. Mad? Why would he be mad at Bambang?
"Why would you ask that?" Yang asked with a defensive tone. Bambang continued to be nice. He didn't want everything they talked about to go up in flames. He just wanted to be cool with Yang. "Just because of what you said earlier. It's okay if you don't want to tell me.. I understand. Just whenever me and Chan hangout-"
"I like him. But so do you."
Bambang gave Yang the most confused look he has ever given anyone on this Earth. Liked….. Chan? Out of everyone on this planet, Yang thought Bambang liked Chan? He didn't know if he was supposed to laugh or roll his eyes or gag. "I- I'm sorry… what?" Bambang asked with pure confusion.
"It's obvious you do. You talk to him all the time." Yang mumbled. Okay, now it was time to laugh. He flopped on his bed, laughing like a mad man, while Yang watched with a confused expression. Bambang sat back up to look at him. "You- haha- you though I liked Chan?! You're crazy!" Bambang said between giggles.
Yang continued to quietly stare at Bambang, watching him laugh. Bambang didn't know if Yang was confused, or laughing along with him. After a moment more, he stops laughing, sucking in a much needed breath. "I don't like Chan." Bambang starts, his voice still giddy. "I work with him because we work well together. But I barely can deal with him. I had a feeling you were a little jealous-" "I wasn't jealous!" Bambang gives Yang a dead stare.
"Yeah, okay. If you want…, I can stop hanging out with Chan. I don't need you mad at me.." Bambang said with a smile. He didn't mind not hanging out with Chan for a bit. Yang smiled. "Are you serious? Will you please?" Yang asked, an excited expression on his face. Bambang shrugged. "Nothing is happening between us," Nothing that has to do with feelings. "I'll let you guys have your time." Bambang stated with a shrug.
Yang ran over to him, hugging the vampire hunter. "Thank you! Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!" Yang repeated over and over again, Bambang laughed softly. "Yeah, yeah. It's whatever. But get off of me." Bambang sighed. Yang did, brushing off his shirt. He smiled happily at Bambang. "You are awesome!" Yang said, jumping up and down. It was cute, puppy love.
"Now I can understand why people see you as so young."
"Hey!"
