Chapter 92: The Plan

Chan stood calmly by Adeline, who placed a revolver in her holster. "Let's make this clear. I know we're using this red jewel, but I like green ones more. Always have on in my back pocket."

Chan quickly widened his eyes, looking over at Bambang, who held the phone in his hand. "What does Tsavorite look like?" Chan asked frantically. Adeline had it in her back pocket. He was going to apologize to her one hundred times, but he shouldn't let her die in vain. She should help them win one more time.

Bambang showed his phone to Chan. A beautiful green jewel was shown. "Green." Bambang answered. Chan sighed, but it seemed Wei already knew what he was thinking. "Are we seriously about to dig up a dead body?" Wei asked. Snake gave them a worried look. "Why do you need to dig up a dead body?" Snake asked with a concerned expression. Chan knew they didn't have enough time to explain it all to Snake. Chan looked over at the member.

"Please. Before dusk, veto Dog's plan. I already did, but we need one more." Chan begged. Snake seemed hesitant, but he sighed. "Fine. I'll veto it. But you better come back alive or else we'll have a problem." Snake threatened. Chan placed a hand on Snake's shoulder, before nodding. "If I need help, I'll call you. But for right now, stay on guard. If you can, try to inform Horse of what's happening." Chan stated, giving Snake a sharp nod. Snake sighs, shrugging him off. "Go."

Chan walked out, Bambang following close behind. Ying ran up to him. "So what are we going to do? Beau Mort has taken her body, so where could it be?" Ying asked. Chan didn't actually know where the dead bodies were held. But he had a feeling Wei did. "Wei?" Chan asked, looking over at Wei, who was silent with his head down. It was almost unsettling to see Wei in such a stance.

Wei looked up at his name, before looking around. "The Morgue before their buried. So that's probably where they still are. But I don't know if we can get in without breaking in." Wei stated, turning around to run slightly down the lit hall. He stops at a room, placing his hand on the cool glass he looked inside. Chan watched silently, as Wei sighed. "This is it."

Wei grabbed the handle, only for him to his lioghtly and move his hand, as if he plkaced it on a burning stove. "Silver,Careful." Wei stated, backing away. Bambang sighed, walking up to the door. "Vampire proof, smart. Why would humans want to come inside?" Bambang said, opening the door. He allowed everyone in, before placing his foot at the door to make sure it didn't shut and lock.

Chan started quickly scanning the different chambers for Adeline's name. "Do you think they would have recognised her?" Wei asked, scanning with him. Ying shrugged his shoulder. "Chan could barely recognise her. I don't think they could have." Ying sighed, stepping away. As Chan read through the names,m he noticed something. They weren't names to begin with, they were unknown.

"Does any of these have a name on them?" Chan asked, looking over to way. His face was slightly grim as he shook his head. "They aren't empty. It would be filed as such if they were. They probably don't know who any of these people are." Wei mumbled. Chan stepped back, looking at the wall of metal compartments. "Just look at them all. You remember what her body looks like." Bambang suggested, leaning slightly on the door.

Chan didn't want to for respect, but if all these people were unknown, he had to find Adeline a different way. Chan gripped the handle, pulling out the first compartment. It was a girl, for sure. Her face slashed to the point of unrecognition. Her neck was also slashed, the rest of her body covered in a white sheet.

For a while, Chan thought this was all a coincidence. They all died in similar ways to Adeline, the young boy, and Akuji all had their throats cut, just like these bodies did. Chan thought they were quick. Chan thought that they were quick enough to have stopped it before too many people were hurt. But now, Chan understood. They were much too late.

"Found her!" Wei yelled, pulling the draw out. She was exactly as she was when Chan first saw her dead. Her face slashed up, beyond any sort of identification. Her fingers chop to pieces, and her neck sliced thinly. Wei unfolded the blanket, revealing her body. Her shredded clothes laid a top her body. Wei went to her pockets of her pants, looking for the green jewel she called precious. His eyes widened as he took something out of his hand. He clasped it into his fist, looking down.

He unclasped his hand, showing a shimmering green jewel, in the shape of a star. He was silent, his face going to a slight smile. Bambang made sure the door was open, before waling over. He grabbed his phone, showing the photo of Tsavorite. "Looks similar.." Bambang said, shutting off his phone. Just as he did so his phone lit up, showing Jingfei's speaker.

"Jingfei are you okay?" Bambang asked. THere was silence on the other end of the phone, before he heard someone's voice. "Bambang?! Bambang, Jingfei is gone! He said he was going to research Tsavorite, but then he disappeared!" Lin Feng said with worry. "What do you mean by disappeared?" Ying asked, his voice urgent.

"He really did disappear. He suddenly turned the corner by himself into an alleyway. He wasn't dragged or anything." Yang explained further. Did Jingfei truly get kidnapped? Or.. could it be that he disappeared on his own accord. "Did you guys hear anyone call his name?" Wei asked calmly. "Um.." Lin Feng mumbled. "I don't think so. He had walked a couple meters before he turned."

Chan pinched his nose. "Where are you guys?" Chan asked. Why would Jingfei walk off? He isn't the type to run off like that. "Um… we're near Kai's apartment. We just left." Chan was quick with his next words. "Go back to Kai's place. He'll let you in. If Yuao really wants to only help humans, he wouldn't kill one." Chan stated. Yang sighed. "Okay, we'll go. Did you guys get Tsavorite?" Yang asked.

"Yeah, we found it. We'll go over there so Kai can confirm it. But for now we have to go." Bambang stated. Lin Feng sighed. "Okay.. okay..bye." Lin Feng mumbled, before shutting off the phone. If Yuao kidnapped Jingfei, they need to get him back. Now. Bambang slid his phone back in his pocket, before looking up at them.

"We need to decide who is going to fight."
