Chapter 94: The Plan

Ying stepped into the trains compartment last, the metal door shutting behind him. "How much did this cost?" Lin Feng asked, looking around. There was a young man with them with a bag on his shoulder. "Twenty-three million." The man said. His hair was combed back, revealing his young face.

"For special cases. Only the highest authorities in Beau Mort are actually allowed to use this train. Level three council hunters. Cinq Masques, mostly." Bambang informed casually. They had all stopped at Bambang's apartment for some items. Guns and knives mostly. Bambang had changed into his hunter gear with casual clothes on top.

The finger tips were laced with silver, padding on his feet, elbows, and knees. Bullet padding on his chest and backside. All in a skin tight suit. Ying didn't know how successful the council was, but if their giving this too all their high level hunters, they must be well off. "Wait.. so someone from the Cinq Masque are working with us?" Lin Feng asked hopefully.

The man hummed. "Two." He said simply. He had a suit on, however it was casual enough for him to take off his jacket and loosen his tie. He placed his bag on the floor, beginning to unzip it. "Two? Who?" Yang asked, watching the man begin to take out clothing. "The Snake and The Tiger. However they both decided to watch from afar."

Before all of them got onto the train, Ying, Wei, Chan, Bambang, and Snake all decided to not tell the vamplings. If something does happen, they didn't even need a rumor coming out. It was safer to keep it between the small group. Lin Feng smiled. "That's great!" Yang cheered. The young man didn't say anything, only tossing Ying a leather suit. Just like Bambang.

He tossed one to Chan and Wei, before zipping up his bag. "You need all the backing you can get. Even with the crystals, he has numbers on his side." The man stated. "Careful what you touch. Once you put these on, you can't touch Yang or Lin Feng. Not unless you unclip the gloves, which take a while. SO be mindful of that." Bambang stated.

Lin Feng and Yang's smiles deteriorated. "Wait… are you guys actually fighting?" Lin Feng asked softly, looking up at Ying. "Bambang's going to get Jingfei. But the rest of us.. Yeah. We are." Ying explained softly. Yang's eyes widened. "What?! No! You can't! You guys will get hurt!" Yang stood up, turning to the man in the suit. "Don't you have hunters that will fight?!" Yang asked, challenging the vampling.

"All of Beau Mort's hunters are human. Each of them will die if Yuao had Citrine around his neck. However, the tsavorite rock is large enough to be slit into three, which is exactly how many you all would need." The man stated. Chan grabbed Yang's arm, pushing him back down in his seats. "None of us will get hurt, promise." Chan said softly, as Yang angrily tapped his foot.

There was a soft ring from Lin Feng's phone. Lin Feng lifted it up, to see a call. "Jingfei.." He states quickly. Ying listened to the voice on the other end of the call. "There is an island in the middle of the Min Jiang River. Meet me there." That was all he said, before hanging up. It was JIngfei's voice, that's for sure. Min Jiang River ran through Chengdu. Yuao had to be with him. Lin Feng sighed, lowering his phone.

"This must be Yuao's doing."Ying stated, sitting back in his chair. "In the middle of Min Jiang.." Lin Feng asked. Bambang sighed. "The middle of Min Jiang river. Isn't that like… a forest?" Bambang asked, looking up Wei, who nodded. "Mostly. There is a small beach. Maybe that's were he wants us to go."

Jingfei fell to his knees in the soft stand. He felt like he was walking forever, his hands tied. He didn't remember much, only that he woke up with his hands tied. They burned his wrists, his body aching from the long walk. He doesn't know how long he's been walking. The sun was still up high, a city into the distance. He didn't know if he was in Hong Kong anymore. He didn't know if he was in China.

Jingfei was tempted to walk out into the water multiple times, but he knew he would drown without the use of his arms. So he continued walking until he gave up, his knees digging into the dirt. Come on, JIngfei. Get up. He used his hands to stand up, staying in a crouched position for some time. HIs hair hung over his face, breathless and tired.

His tanzanite necklace slid off his neck and only the sandy beach. Jingfei stared down at the necklace. It refracted every light that came from the skies, a blue glow shimmering brightly into Jingfei's red eyes. Jingfei quickly grabbed the necklace, standing up once again. As he did so, he felt a presence behind him.

"There is a young girl standing in the middle of the island. Drop your necklace into the water. If it floats, protect her. If it sinks, kill her."

And Jingfei listened.
