Extra 2

Jingfei knocked once on the door, before opening it. Chan and Yang were sitting on the couch, controllers in their hand. Jingfei looked over at the screen. Mario Kart, of course. Whoever was playing the Princess Peach character was so close to the finish line, only for Princess Daisy to throw a banana peel, causing Princess Peach to slide off the track, allowing Princess Daisy to win. Give it two seconds, Jingfei thought.

"Yes!!!" Yang cheered, standing up. Chan flopped onto the couch. So that's who Princess Daisy was. "So unfair. You were waiting for me to win." Chan muttered, looking up at the ceiling in despair. Jingfei quietly watched him. "No! I'm just finally better than you!" Yang cheered. Chan pulled Yang down by the shirt. "Don't make me-"

Jingfei casually cleared his throat from where he was standing by the door. Chan stopped talking, looking over. He squealed when he saw Jingfei. "My child!" Chan yelled happily, running over to hug Jingfei. "I haven't seen you in forever!" Chan said happily. Yang scoffed from where he was sitting. "Did you see him yesterday?" Yang asked. Chan did. Jingfei wanted to get some of Wei's new fried rice. "But that's such a long time!" Chan dragged out every syllable of every word.

Jingfei tried to pull him off, but Chan didn't want to. Yang looked over at Jingfei. "How's Bambang? Haven't seen him in a while." Yang asked as Jingfei finally pushed Chan away. "He's fine. He said Beijing's fun but he likes Hong Kong better." JIngfei smiled. Bambang had started teaching hunters certain procedures and weapons in Beijing for the last couple of months. Jingfie didn't know when he would be back, but it seems it will be soon.

"Of course, Hong Kong is wayyy better than Beijing." Yang scoffed, rolling his eyes. Chan walked back over to Yang, who was choosing his neck character. "So what, were you two both princesses?" JIngfei asked, sitting down next to him. There were quick footsteps running down the stairs as JIngfei got comfortable.

He watched as Ying ran down the stairs, with a big blue dress in his hands. He looked at Jingfei. "Are you a size medium?" Ying asked quickly. Jingfei stared at him for a second. He wanted JIngfei to put on the big dress. "Um… yeah. Why-?' Ying tossed him the dress, Jingfei barely catching it. As JIngfei examined the dress, he noticed something. It wasn't a dress at all, instead a hanfu. Traditional Chinese clothing. Luckily, it was a male hanfu.

"I was walking down the street and this old man knew me and I didn't know from what but it turns out he was one of my clints back in the forties and he wanted me to make a hanfu for his grandson." Ying said quickly. All three of the vampires stared at Ying with the same question in their head.

"And he didn't question why you looked so young?" Chan asked, staring at Ying, who sighed breathlessly. "No, well technically he thought I was my grandson, and we just look alike. And I lied and said I was and he asked me to ask my grandfather, which is me, to make the hanfu." Ying explained.

Jingfei held the hanfu back to look at it. "Why a hanfu?" Yang asked, looking at it too. It seemed beautiful. "The grandson is cosplaying as a book character. Hsien Lian, I believe." Ying explained. JIngfei stood up, holding the hanfu over his arm. "Okay, lemme try it on."

The hanfu was honestly, stunning. A blue shimmering fabric that tucked nicely at his waist with blue and gold beads as decor. A lace like pattern was hidden under the blue fabric. Butterfly detailing shown on the sleeves sprinkled with glitter. Jingfei made sure not to step on any of the fabrics as he walked back out into the open room. Wei, at some point, sat down in the living room as well.

As Jingfei walked in, Ying anxiously stood up. He grabbed Jingfei by the arm, twirling him around once, twice, three times. The different layers floating up in the air. "You should really have been born in Ancient China, you look good." Yang complimented, as Ying crouched to fix some of the layers of the hanfu.

Jingfei shook his head. "No thank you, I like cellphones."
