A magic book

"Now that we are in a place where humans live, just call me Louis, and stop calling me the wolf king to avoid revealing my identity."

"Okay, Louis."

Jack looked expectantly at Louis, who was not interested in human things, but wanted to get Daxi better as soon as possible, so, reluctantly, he took it.

"The book says that injured patients need to drink chicken soup, it is best to use about 3 pounds of old hens with red dates, wolfberries, ginseng, slow simmering for 3 hours on low heat, can help the patient to replenish nutrition."

Louis threw the book to the ground impatiently, "You want me to catch a chicken? And make soup for her?!!!"

The white wolf king has always been served , he is the king , how would he go to do such things that only servants do.

Jack hugged the book and nodded solemnly.

"So thirsty..." Dai Xi's body squirmed a little, the sound was as soft as a pin falling on the ground, fortunately the werewolf's ears are more sensitive than humans.

"You're awake? get some water, Jack!" Louis could not suppress the joy in his voice as he move to the bedside of Dai Xi, whose cheeks were a little hot and her face flushed red like the evening sun.

She didn't have the strength to open her eyes, feeling pain and heat all over her body. It was like she was walking on an endless desert with a blazing sun over her head and the heat baking her body.

Louis touched her forehead, his brows furrowed, and Dai Xi had a fever.

Jack hurriedly took a glass of water. Louis took it and fed it to her mouth with a spoon.

"She has a fever, go and see if there is a way to reduce the fever."

Jack took the book, flipped it quickly, and pointed to a line. It said that a towel wet with cold water and putting on a patient's forehead would reduce the fever.

Louis immediately handed Jack the water and asked him to feed Dai Xi. He got up and went to the bathroom to look for a towel, but there were various towels hanging on the shelf. He wanted to choose the softest one.

So the noble Wolf King took each towel and wiped it on the back of his hand. Finally, he chose the pink one, which was rich in rabbit hair fibers and caused the least irritation to human skin.

Jack hid behind the door peeking, covering his mouth and laughing. The white Wolf King also has today. If other wolves see this, they must think he is crazy.

Louis said to himself, "I'm all for Jack's sausage!"

Jack retorted softly from behind the door. "It's none of my business!"

Dai Xi's fever receded under Louis's cold compress over and over again, and Ethan returned after sending Amy back, came to the bedroom to report to him, and saw Louis sleeping tiredly by Dai Xi's bedside.

Ethan didn't disturb him and gently closed the door.

"Wouldn't it be better to buy one? I'm the wolf king, there's no way I'm going to catch a chicken."

Louis stood next to the chicken pen on the farm and looking at the chicken poo with a look of disgust.

"It is said in the book that free-range chickens have enough nutrition. The chickens in the supermarket are all broilers, growing up eating feed, the free-range chickens are drinking mountain spring water, growing up eating vegetables and fruits, and tasting a little better, do you want to give Dai Xi to eat meat chickens without nutrition?"

Jack said seriously, and then waited confidently for Louis to enter the chicken pen.

Louis was silent for a minute. After a complicated struggle, he took two studs out of his pockets and plugged his nose. Then he stepped into the chicken pen.

What a comical picture, a man in a decent suit is catching chickens in a chicken pen.

Jack looked on gleefully. He wasn't playing a trick. The book said so.

Although Louis was the majestic white wolf king, he was also fumbling when he caught the chicken, and he didn't look like a wolf king at all.

The farmer couldn't stand it anymore, came in to help catch one, and finally rescued Louis.

Louis, with chicken feathers in his hair and chicken poop on his suit, appeared in the kitchen with a chicken in his right hand and medicine from a Chinese supermarket in his left.

When Ethan saw Louis, his eyes were about to fall out in surprise, "My king, why did you get up so early?"

As if he saw a rescue, Louis handed Ethan the ingredients. "You do it. I'm going to rest."

Jack showed up in the kitchen with a book and read aloud that the patient would get better faster with a carefully cooked meal.

Louis instantly took the ingredients back and pushed Ethan out of the kitchen, "You go look after Dai Xi, I'll do it."

Jack nodded in satisfaction, then followed Ethan out of the kitchen.

"Jack, is this a magic book? It can actually make the wolf king get up in the morning and catch and cook chickens!!"
