"I was clean alright, it just happens the credit card was lying there can't help it" Jess became reasonable.

"Hey!!! I'm not judging you, We have to clean that money and fast" Mary went inside her bedroom which is the master bedroom back with a journal.

"These are my drop-off accounts make a deposit to all the accounts...and get rid of the card" she advised.

"I already did, burnt it to ashes...Like old times" they cheers and hugged each other.

Jess did the deposition like Mary instructed before they decide to take a road trip to their old neighbourhood according to Mary she wants to see an old friend of hers, Jess given the best collection of her memory remembers who she is.

She used to run a bar called queasy peasy which by the way Mary used to wait on the tables.

It wasn't enough but it pays bills and put food on the table before she met Solomon and got recruited by the tribe gang, that's how their fallout started.

Mary turned on the car stereo Rihanna's wild thought music played in the background, and Mary and Jess sang words to the song but Jess was killing it better while Mary nods her head.

"Is it just the same as we left nothing has changed?" Jess said peering through the window as she look out into their old neighbourhood same buildings few of them were renovated but are still the same.

Memories hitting back on how they survived in the slums, especially raining seasons one will pray for it to stop because of the flood.

"Yeah, I used to wonder when we were ever going to leave I only missed the pizza treat we should try it if it still tastes the same" Mary suggested as she glanced at Jess with a smile

"We should.....

Whenever I thought about Mom and then look over my shoulder at how we lived it occur to me that I have to make that money sooner than later, and started thinking bad kinds of stuff" Both Jess and Mary nodded at the same time.

They parked along the street there wasn't any traffic regulation or police directives so technically it was parked at the owner's risk but not carelessly before another driver crashes the body of your car.

"A Box to go please" is a drive-through restaurant with no sit-outs, except a window that delivers your food.

The seller was different it use to be an old man. A few minutes later their pizza was ready while they wait they drank cold soft drinks watching the affair of the neighbourhood.

Children were running around, women carrying big loads of vegetable baskets heading to the farmers market which wasn't far from the pizza treat, and the hawkers were screaming at the top of their voices for pedestrians to buy from them.

"One time I get back from school I was hungry that I bought a spoilt egg roll that lady sold me a very bad egg I think it stunk with me for a whole week" Jess pointed at the middle age pastries lady hawking egg rolls.

"They will sell anything in this neighbourhood" Both of them laughed drinking their soft as they watch in amusement.

A lot of people they use to know were no longer around, most of the wood houses were now actual homes and supermarkets were now in competition.
