Mary stood in front of the coffin with flowers on it she had already paid her respects including the others, Bianca touched her on the shoulder as she looked up sharply at her with teary eyes.

"My condolences" Bianca sympathises with Mary the tears from her eyes ruin the mascara, two dark lines running down her cheeks.

Mary hugged Bianca sobbing two security guards helped lift her from her kneel while Jess went ahead to pay her respects before the pastor took over.

"We are all here on behalf of our brother Solomon, he was a son, a brother...." The pastor paused put his face down for a little while as he exhaled heavily.

"Is terrible he had to leave too soon Solomon was a good man who did a lot of good work in the church and took part in charity organisation, he helped a lot of brothers that were close to him from the church" he said as he continued.

"Let's bow our heads" he instructed, the classic music You Raise Me by Groban Josh plays quietly in the background as the pastor prays.

"In the name of our lord Jesus we are all gathered here to send our beloved brother Solomon home, we pray oh lord to take his soul and put him to rest, guide him to the gates of heaven.....

The congregations chorused amen.

"May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the sweet fellowship and the Hølÿ spirit bide and live with us.....Amen"

"Amen" They all did a crucifix sign.

The band carried his coffin laying it on the ground, Mary's family comforted her while she sobbed bitterly and loudly one of the men holding an umbrella over her because it was raining but not heavily.

As they covered him up Mary fell on her knees facing the ground her hands pressed into the field sobbing bitterly, Her whole dress ruined with dirt.

Watching her sister cry like this Jess held back her because she was making her emotional.

After Solomon is covered up his tomb has these words.

Solomon Gregory

Brother & son

1996-2023

Jess wished she had given him the chance to know him, she never expected him to leave the face of the earth too soon, he was handsome and full of life someone who loved her sister passionately, it was too late to even think of it she can't make up for that no matter how she thinks about it he's not coming back.

Jess escorted the pastor and other members of the church to the car, while Mary's mom helped her walk to the car they came in, and Jessica decided to take care of the guest at Spurs where the reception is held.

"None of them shows up Mom," she said as she finally sat in the van her mom grabbed the flask from the corner and handed it to her it had warm tea it would warm her from how the rains beat her, she shook her head not wanting it, she rested her head on the window in uncertainty.
