Gathering

Since he couldn't think of any other way, Alexander decided to focus on the death of the Faceless.

He still had a month before he digested the potion and he only needed to find the supplementary ingredients rather than the whole potion ingredients.

His intuition was telling him that even if he didn't do anything, the Baron of Corruption formula would reach his hands.

Before, he couldn't think of why his intuition was so strong, but with his current knowledge, he could guess that it was most likely caused by the Duke of Entropy characteristic and the remnants of his past life.

That night, Mr. A's Beyonder gathering was taking place.

By now, Alexander was not afraid that he would become a vessel for True Creator's descend.

Not only had his combat power been improved by the lot since the last time, but he had also become a member of MI9.

Although it was more of a cooperative relationship, the Loen Kingdom and the Aurora Society could be considered allies.

Even so, he wasn't going to be careless.

Sitting on a roof opposite of the building, Alexander took a black eye out of his pocket.

Instantly, another Alexander materialized in front of him, with the exact same aura and feeling as the real him.

At the same time, Alexander's real body's eyes turned black, and the clone's eyes sparkled with a distorted aura.

"No matter how many times I use this item, I still can't get used to it.", Alexander's clone, or Alexander said as he looked at his own body sitting opposite to him.

Having made enough preparations, he climbed off the room and knocked the door on Mr A's gathering.

Similar to the last time, the door opened on its own and Alexander found himself in a room filled with people.

Just as he was about to mind his own business, a middle aged man saw him and secretely nodded at him.

Looking at his appearance, it wasn't hard for Alexander to realize that this should be another MI9 member, a Sequence 6 Judge.

Moreover, he and Alexander were familiar with each other, as he had previously killed him in the simulation.

Resisting the urge to take the Quill of Fate out and write him to death, Alexander smiled politely and nodded back.

Taking a look at the two blackboards, Alexander's eyes were met with countless requests.

"Looking for a Horn of an adult Flying Unicorn. Price open for discussion."

"Selling 10 grams of String Grass Powder. 50 pounds."

"Looking for a Silver War Bear's right palm. 300 pounds."

As Alexander was promoted further and further, he had remembered many of the things he had initially forgotten from the original book.

He didn't know if his past self had done anything to seal his own memories before, but he had managed to recall most of the formulas that were mentioned in the book.

Looking at the requests, most of them were looking for extraordinary ingredients for the Arbiter, Apprentice and Apothecary pathways.

This was not surprising, as they were the pathways that most wild Beyonders were in.

Calling an facilitator, Alexander proceeded to make a request for the Sequence 8 Barbarian formula.

Some time later, the faciliator came to him and informed him that someone had accepted his request and wanted to discuss about the price.

Entering a secret room, Alexander saw that apart from him, a woman was already sitting there.

The woman was wearing a black dress, a mask and a hood, clearly attempting to hide her own identity.

Seeing Alexander walking in, she immediately spoke up.

"400 pounds for the Barbarian formula, non negotiable.", the woman said in a hoarse voice.

Although she tried to change her voice and hide her features, Alexander could see that she was of young age.

She didn't have the mannerisms of a strong Beyonder, but instead acted as if she was a newcomer in the Beyonder world.

If it was anyone else, they would wonder how she even got a Sequence 8 formula.

Alexander didn't question her, but quickly agreed and traded the formula for 400 pounds.

Exiting the room, although Alexander was wearing a mask that hid his expression, the bystanders could clearly see that he was very pleased.

Having nothing else to do, Alexander quietly left the building.

Just as he stepped outside, his eyes lost their lustre for a split second, before they returned to normal.

Without taking his mask off, he stopped a carriage and got in.

Half an hour later, Alexander paid the coach, got off the carriage and walked into a dark alleyway.

Turning his head towards the empty alleyway, Alexander spoke up.

"You have followed me for so long."

"Aren't you going to show yourself?", Alexander asked, seemingly addressing this question to the air.

Instead of someone answering however, a sudden gunshot resounded through the alleyway.

Alexander, who was already on guard managed to dodge it slightly, making the bullet miss.

"As expected, no one is stupid to answer his target's questions while fighting, even if he is a villain.", Alexander thought and changed to a fighting stance.

Taking his gun off his waist, he was about to shoot in the direction where the bullet came from, but a sudden shout interrupted his actions.

"Shooting is prohibited!", the shout said.

Hearing the shout, Alexander appeared to realize that his opponent was a stronger Beyonder than him and quickly tried to escape.

"Confinement!"

Just as he was about to escape however, he found that he was unable to leave the alleyway, as if an invisible wall was blocking his way.

Before he could react, another shout sounded.

"Death!"

Instantly, afterimages of a man appeared in the alleyway, as he made his way towards Alexander's location.

At the same time, Alexander hurriedly took a tiny boat out of his pocket.

However, by the time he did, the man had already appeared in front of him.

Holding a silver sword in his right hand, the man waved it towards Alexander.

Red light flashed, as the sword passed through Alexander's neck, cutting off his head.

As his body collapsed, a similar injury appeared on his abdomen, separating his corpse in three different parts.
