Shopping Date with Hayasaka (1/2)

The next morning Kazuya woke up with his girl on top of him, using him as some sort of body pillow.

'When did she change the position…'

Chizuru also woke up with Kazuya having a nasty hangover.

"Ugh…"

With some effort Kazuya got her off of him and brought her some lemonade, helping her out with her hangover.

Then they both took a shower and got ready for college. Chizuru had left enough clothes and other stuff in his apartment that she wouldn't have to make a trip back to her place if they ever stayed over at this place.

After that Kazuya dropped Chizuru off at the university and left for work. He wasn't going to go to university today since he had to get done with NovelAI's launch today.

He was sitting in his office with Kaguya, it was a usual occurrence whenever he came to the company. She'd brief him about the current progress of the company and ask him the status of his project.

"This one's going to be the last project that I work on by myself. I need you to set up some resources that I'll need for my future projects. For the current projects, I was the one who managed the working of the entire application but now I need you to set up the development server and set up the different departments."

For now, Kazuya was going to be involving himself with all the management since the company was just starting and he needed to understand its workings completely. He and Kaguya regularly had meetings about the working of the company and the future.

"I'll get it done, do you have any specific needs for the departments?"

"We're still relatively small scale, for now, so each department won't have more than 4 people for now. One of the four would be leading the team. I need Kei to start hiring people for the marketing department. Let's also set up a public relations department that would be managing the forums for the company. I need a front-end team, a back-end team, a designing team, and a dev-ops team. The rest you can decide at your discretion."

"Are you planning on another project?"

"Yeah. After publishing this, I'm going to make an art-generator AI. You feed in the description of what kind of art you need and you'll get the thing closest to that."

"Something like that is going to revolutionize the animation industry if it's successful."

"Of course, it's going to be successful. Have you seen me launch something that wasn't a perfected product yet?"

"In all fairness, we've only launched one product for now. The novel application is going to launch today."

"Whatever, call in Kei and Hayasaka. We're launching the application, we should celebrate."

"Sure," Kaguya tapped on her watch and said into it, "Hayasaka, can you call Kei and bring champagne from the fridge?"

"On it."

They did a little celebration, the same as last time when the application finally launched.

After that, everyone left Kazuya's office except for Hayasaka.

"Did you need something from me Hayasaka?" He'd gotten slightly informal with everyone since they'd all been working together for a while now.

"Well…" She fidgeted a little in her spot.

Kazuya was someone who had quite a bit of knowledge about acting and seeing her he was able to tell that she was acting like that. Those weren't her real actions.

'Not everyone is an experienced actress like grandma Sayuri who could pull one over me.'

Kazuya waited to see what she was planning to do.

"Umm… I was planning to go shopping tomorrow, I wanted to get some clothes since the seasons are changing. I wanted to invite you with me since I wanted a guy's opinion of my clothes. What do you say? Would you like to come?" After a slight hesitation, she asked him out on a date.

'Is this also some sort of test? Honestly, I don't care. Not like I have much to do tomorrow. Might as well hang out with this perfect secretary.' Kazuya wouldn't refuse an invitation from a beautiful girl, especially when she was as competent as Hayasaka.

As for his concerns about Kaguya using her to test him, he didn't care anymore. He was just going to act as he usually did. It's been a while since they've been working together and he wasn't going to let some petty tests from her make him act differently.

"Sure, I don't mind. We could go out together. It'll help me too since I'll be able to get more familiar with girls' fashion." Kazuya agreed with a smile.

"Great! It's a date." With that Hayasaka smiled and left his office.

'Guess I'm not going to college tomorrow either.' He thought absently.

When it was close to the time when Chizuru's classes would be over, Kazuya left the office and went to the college to pick her up.

'I hope she's not mad at me for leaving her to the wolves all alone who were definitely going to be asking her a whole lot of questions, even though those wolves are her friends.'

The moment he saw Chizuru walking to the college gate with a dark expression on her face, he knew that she was going to be mad.

"H-Hi, babe!"

"You! You abandoned me to those wolves."

"I knew that you'd manage."

"That doesn't change the fact that you left me there to deal with those- those fucking hyenas that are starved for relationship gossip. Especially after yesterday's party."

Kazuya flinched at the fire that seemed to be spewing out of her eyes right now.

"I'm sorry babe, but know that I had to launch the application today."

"That's not an excuse for leaving me to those wolves. You could've convinced me to come with you."

"I thought that you wouldn't want to be bored with boring office work."

"It would've been better than the shit that I had to deal with. Do you know that at some point during the party, my makeup got off and ended up showing everyone there the hickeys? They were asking me what kind of rough stuff you do with me. Fuck am I supposed to say that?"

"The sex is amazing?"

"You! Come on, let's go home. I'm calling in the favor that you owe me. I'll make you regret leaving me to those hyenas."

'Oh no… I hope it's not too much, but the moment she brings out ropes to tie me up or something like that, I'm reversing the situation and tying her up. I may be into BDSM but there's no way in hell that I'm letting her dominate me. I'm a sadist through and through…'

Kazuya went with her back to her apartment, nervous about what she'd want him to do.

By the time she was done with him, he had dead eyes and an even deader expression. Looking at him one would think that his eyes looked like 'yandere' Mami.

'At least she doesn't have some weird dominatrix fetish. That's something that I have no plans to deal with. And honestly… other than my dignity, I don't think I lost much else. Fuck.'

Thankfully after embarrassing the shit out of him, Chizuru forgave him and happily went to sleep with him.

What happened between them that night was a mystery that Kazuya was going to take to his grave.

He woke up the next morning, having already sealed up the previous night's experience into the deepest depths of his mind.

He got ready as usual and let Chizuru know that he wasn't going to college today either since he was busy today.

She didn't pry too much into his business since she didn't want to seem controlling.

Kazuya wasn't planning on lying to her but her not asking him was for the best in his opinion since it saved her from being unnecessarily insecure.

She was his best girl and his favorite and he wasn't planning on changing that, no matter what he did with Mami, or anyone else for that matter, her position in his heart was fixed.

The closest someone can get to him would be to get an equal place in his heart as Chizuru.

He dropped her off at college before going home and playing some video games for a few hours before he has to meet Hayasaka for their date.

'I really don't get much time to play these days.' Kazuya complained while opening up the new God of War.

He played it for a few hours and when it was around half an hour from when he'd have to meet Hayasaka, he left his house.

He walked to the mall where Hayasaka had set up their date.

He arrived 5 minutes before the agreed-upon time and waited for her.

"Hi, Kazuya-san!" Kazuya heard her voice call out to him and looked over to see Hayasaka.

She was wearing a black shoulderless crop top that left her belly visible. It had thin spaghetti straps on her shoulders and a ruffle lace around her arms. She was wearing denim shorts that complimented the black color of her top well. Lastly, she was wearing black flat heels. Her hair was styled differently from her usual side ponytail. She had a side braid with the rest of her hair left open.

Kazuya was left staring at the beautiful girl with stunning blue eyes for a few seconds before he broke out of his reverie.
