An Invitation From an Immortal Cultivator (2)

Suddenly, Jiang Ming thought of something. "Maybe they swallowed the poisonous miasma; that's why they only live for a day. If they can resist the temptation to swallow the miasma, they might live longer."

Dr. Sun glanced at him. "Perhaps it isn't a temptation. Perhaps it's an experience they should have in their lives. They wouldn't be true fire mayflies otherwise."

Dr. Sun sounded dejected. He turned around and jumped. Sinking into the miasma, he disappeared.

Jiang Ming's heart twinged. He had a few speculations, but he felt they were ridiculous. He could not help but laugh and shake his head. He turned around and left.

This place, which was once a ravaged battlefield, had once again regained its peace.

Back at Peace County, the old wood carver was thriving. Not only could he make toys for the children, but he could also help the neighbors repair their furniture. He was very popular with the townsfolk.
