Part-time Boss

In the pitch-black night sky, a gale arose out of nowhere, turning the sky into a scene of apocalyptic fury covered by dark clouds and howling winds within moments.


"What!" Mergos was shocked as he watched the storm converge from all directions. The suddenness of the storm, with no sign before its onset, greatly astonished him.


No wonder he was surprised. Although the Dragon Race could absorb various elemental powers to obtain corresponding domain forces, these absorbed forces resembled more of a biological instinct similar to how birds need to flap their wings to fly. The Dragon Race had to charge up before using their domain powers, and all requisite movements must be complete.


Just as when the Blue Dragon uses magic—even with innate control over magic power, the spells must still be chanted and the charging must be performed.
