Part-time Boss

"This is the place," Lysaegis stated in the pitch-black tunnel, observing the slowly flowing crimson Lava River before her.


Freysanks was a bit nervous, "Jump down?"


"Of course, what, have you been alone on a small island for so long that you're even scared of this?"


"If you're not afraid, then I'm not afraid, ladies first."


Lysaegis rolled her eyes and didn't say anything more. After transforming into a giant dragon, she took a leap into the magma.


The Dragon Race all have extremely strong elemental resistances, and with their thick skin and tough flesh, the scalding damage from mere lava was totally superficial for a Primordial Dragon. Although uncomfortable, they could certainly withstand it.


The two dragons traveled underwater in the Lava River for a while before finally bursting through the surface with a thunderous roar.


The two giant dragons climbed onto the shore, shaking off the lava from their bodies, and transformed back into human forms.
