Basil's perspective moments after he was knocked out
I'm in a incredibly dark room the only two things I can see is a weird rectangle thing that is giving off light and a chair setting in front of it. I walked towards the chair and I take a seat. I start looking at the screen and I see images on them I feel like I've seen this somewhere before but I can't quite put my finger on it.
the images on display are showing a strange world. they are really tall buildings weird contraptions people used to get around and I feel like I should know what they are but I can't quite put my finger on it. images on display start rapidly changing changing color and gaining little white and black dots every once in awhile.
the image gets much clearer as it's now showing and what looks to be a middle-aged man walking in some sort of desert. when suddenly the man on the screen is attacked I watched him effortlessly kill them. his moves are the same moves I came up with for my north god style. then the the image becomes distorted again weird colors begin to show and a high pitch noise echoes throughout the empty black room.
then the image changes I see what looks to be a middle-aged man the same as before dressed all in black. sitting looking at me. I asked him he replied with a voice that sounds like mine and a grown man mixed in and two different languages one I definitely know in the other I feel like I've heard it somewhere I can't quite put where I looked at the man and asked he responds I looked at the man and asked the man replied after the man said this the entire room started to shake and crack as a loud high pitch noise echoed throughout every fiber of my being and then I lost consciousness.
I come too in a dirty room as I look around I find that I'm tied up completely and I've been strong up my feet don't touch the ground. I breathe a sigh of relief when I see my brother Rudy and Eris. I quietly call out to my brother no response I tried calling Eris but the same thing with Rudy no response.
I used the wall as leverage as I pull on the thing that's holding me up. I put all my power into it as I rip it right out of the Stone wall. I dropped down been used fire magic to get rid of the ropes wrapped around me. I do the same for Rudy and Eris. I see that there's a door in the room I go to it and press my ear to see if I can hear anything and what I hear a mans voice say this.
another voice picks up and says a then a woman responds a gruffer voice scolds her saying the woman's size and says another voice picks up and says the gruff sounding voice responded
I take my ear away from the door and use my sixth sense to see how many of them are there. I detected 10 people outside the door and because of Rudy being so close by I can't quite get a grasp of how strong they are the best I can do is give an educated guess that they're probably weaker than me. I can't sense ghislaine at all which means she's nowhere close by according to when I'm picking up with my sixth sense we seem to be in a small town.
I shake Rudy awake when he gets up rubbing his eyes he looks around and almost says loudly as I quickly cover up his mouth and tell him to stay quiet. explain to him the situation that we've been kidnapped. and I'm thinking of a way to get us out of here. Rudy looks around and says I tell him Rudy looks really nervous at this statement and he replies I reach into my boot and show him my dagger. and I told him
I looked at Rudy and he was visibly shaking if I thought of having to fight our kidnappers so I came up with an idea and told him he looks at me almost guilty and says I smiled and replied with
I go over to Eris and wake her up. she sleeps her eyelids and then when she realizes she doesn't recognize where she was she immediately tried to scream which I had to quickly cover her mouth. and told her Eris nods. I take my hand off her mouth and she asks I replied with I then say she nods and starts shaking I can tell that she's quite frightened so I give her a hug and tell her that's going to be okay that me and Rudy will protect her. and while that's going on Rudy gets the bars out of the window by turning the stone around them to dust. he crawls out of the window first and I help Eris out the window.
now it's time for me to do my part. I hide in the corner as I start yelling annoyed with this one of the men barges in the room and sees but at first glance nobody's there. before he can call his friends I leap onto his back and plug into my dagger into his neck. as he falls to the ground bleeding out. I pick up his sword nothing fancy but it'll do the trick. I stand in the doorway and yell hearing my provocation the other men and woman start heading right towards me. I position myself a little out of the doorway so that way I can funnel them. as I predicted they're quite weak only intermediate North God level. as I was ripping right through them with ease it was essentially a massacre.
and then there was one the woman gets on her knees and starts begging for her life she she says that while trying to look as cute as possible but I give her a cold look and say after I said that I swung my sword and decapitated her. I make my way through the small building to make sure there was nobody left I found everything on who ordered the kidnapping apparently Thomas and Darius were in on it I put the notes in my pocket. when I got out of the building I noticed there was a transport carriage there. I asked the man what he was doing he said he was here to deliver the goods to the drop off point which gave me a wicked idea and I told him hold on I'll get it. I found a box big enough to fit all the heads of the slain kidnappers and was lucky enough to find some parchment and ink where I written a message to Darius this is the message I wrote I roll up the letter and stick it in one of the dead guys mouths. I nailed the box shut and I put it in and said and then I watched as the transport carriage road off. I thought to myself now I just need to find Rudy and Eris.
