Chapter 35: Grand Theft Medallion

“I’m obsessed with your hair. It’s like ‘Disney princess’ amazing,” I murmur, running conditioner through Roxy’s dark hair that flows down her back like a waterfall of ink.

Her soft black hair partially covers a tattoo of a giant mandala on her back, which Roxy told me was done by the same person who did the tiger tattoo on her arm.

“You know, I buzzed my hair short a little over six years ago and this is all grown out from there with trims in between.” Roxy chuckles and turns around to plant a kiss on my cheek.

“I could buzz it for you.” Roxy’s dark eyes dance, clearly joking.

“I’ll think about it. Boy, that’d really make my parents mad. I never really went through my whole teenage rebellion phase.”
