Im gonna have to send my SAT scores to San Quentin instead of harvard!?!!!!

Veronica stood stock still.

A deer in headlights.

She WAS a deer in headlights

Just a second ago heather Chandler had been her usual rich privilaged self.

But now, she was dead. Lying in a pile of glass, a small trickle of blood staining the diamond-like shards. Turning the diamonds into Rubies. The myriad of shining stars that had reached every corner. Shining brightly.

Veronica watched heather. Even in death she was serene. Her pale hands limp, her fluffy hair hiding her face from view. If Veronica had bent down she would see Heather's face. But what was the point? Heather was dead. She wasn't breathing. And even if she was alive, Veronica wouldn't save her. No that's crazy, veronica WOULD save heather. Because Veronica is a nice person... Veronica is good. Right!?

Staring at the face down goddesses dead on the floor made Veronica ill. She cluthed her stomach as she continued to stare in disbelief. One minute she would pop up muttering and gasping about how they were all dead and gonna be sent to jail for attempted murder. But she didn't. She stayed.... Dead.... Dead as a doornail.

Next to Veronica, JD stood. His arms floating in a kind of lost way. His body leaning forwards. His eyes holding a lost spaced out expression. His eyebrows curved into an expression of utmost shock.. but his mouth was... In a slight grin. So slight you had to look closely to see it.. but even in all his shock, he wasn't THAT upset.

He had always gotten urges. Urges to hurt someone. But he had never acted on them. He had swallowed them like a pill with slushies and smoked then away with ciggerates. He had acted on his urge. But.. he didn't think it through. So, as he stood. Tense in an awkward position, hid eyes staring at heather in a curious expression, his eyebrows loosening, mouth in a slight smile. Veronica spoke.

"Oh my god...I can't believe it... I just killed my best friend."
