01 CHAPTER 01: PROLOGUE
PHASE 1: Regenerations
The whole world was in panic after been hit by an asteroids, it happened so fast the whole world was in chaos.
the world leaders where in utmost panic after destroying half of each countries around the world.
scientist all round the world started looking and researching for what caused the unforseen chaos only to find out it was but a big black floating object that changed shapes irregularly.
after five months it gave birth to different phenomenons, people developing powers like enhanced senses, extraordinary strenght, speed, immense growth, high iq, manipulating elements and so on people who underwent changes were regarded as the regenerations and in short for the regens.
even animals evolved, tho it was magnificent it turned out to be a nightmare but was later contained by dividing the reborn into different power ranks, E, D, C, B, A, and S.
those that wish to defend are to register in an official organization called tower and those that are registerd are given the name vanguards.
the world evolved and technology advanced faster than normal, people no longer communicate through phone but through telepathic hologram that looked like a game system by using a power plant called source planted all round the world
companies rebuilt, power became a priority and the economy was Miraculously stabilized until chaos ensued

Tension rising as people argued about who's the strongest
"dreg is the strongest his faster and rated the best A rank vanguard with no weak point" jimmy said boldly
"we need fact not farts laxin is much more smarter than so called dreg, he has the best trained heroes working under him and owns one of the top rated most luxurious companies in the world and would soon be rated S- rank" john says while looking at jimmy to dare a comeback
the door opens and a man walks in looking depressed with a rough suit and hardly packed suit case
"here comes again comes again looking like a degenerate hahaha" john says using his right hand to cover his mouth from laughing out loud
"actually he is degenerate with no power and no use" Lara says has she walks into the conversation
they all chuckle almost laughing out loud
"what a bunch of morons with no respect" David thought to himself
"who am to talk to when am just an ordinary human with no potential" David blanks out almost hitting the manager
"what the heck is wrong with you? are you blind, you almost hit me" the manager lashes out almost spitting into Davids mouth
"am sorry sir i didn't see you there i really am sorry sir i_" David looks down avoiding eye contact
"year whatever I've got no time to waste on a degenerate like you i got a date this night so i won't let you spoil my mood" bumps into David and heads straight to the car park
"that sly bastard i wish i could be the one at the top and make him lick my sho_ aahaha I'm sorry i didn't mean it" i shout as i felt a hand placed on my shoulder i looked to see who it was while praying it shouldn't be the manager
"dude what the fuck" i shouted as i breathed heavily heaving a sigh of relief
"dude chill its just me i don't bite" victor says while laughing with no control
"yeah but you could have given me an heart attack im not like you regens who have enhanced health and long life spans like immortals"
victor has been my childhood friend we went to the same school all the way to college and started at the same company tho his my boss as the executive manager and I'm just a receptionist with a useless degree and no powers
"chill brah i can't lose ya just yet you're mah only pal" i watched with a smile as i watched him try to speak in a cowboy accent which i found funny
"yeah sure just don't bite ya tongue pal" victor smiled seeing he saw me smiling
victor was funny kind of guy who has always had my back since we were 5, he was the only friend i had who was a regen ranked D and had powers like electricity and lightning tho almost the same but different source, and also had an IQ of about 206 and enhanced genes,
enhanced genes are tiny robots called nanites that work with your blood and strengthens/defends or enhances a particular area in your body,
regens who are C rank and above use it up to half of their body and E to D can only use in some parts of their body, but has a limit tho it depends on your rank and level of energy.
"so whats for lunch" i asked trying to adjust into my seat
"ramen..." i looked at him with joyful eyes and like i was about to cry tears of joy
"thank you bro thank you" victor looked at me like that of a person who was about eating a full cow
"dude what the fuck are you lying or what don't give me false hopes its exhausting" i said looking like someone who lost 1000 dollar bill, but i noticed something different about him like he was glowing which can only lead to one thing
"dude whatssup did any good thing happen" seeing him smile sheepishly made me question reality
"i got a girlfriend bro and God she's hot" i looked at him emotionless
"seriously dude" he brought his phone and showed me her picture and heck she was hot
"how long have you known each other" i asked emotionless
"about two months now i asked her out yesterday when we went on a date" still looking emotionless
"huh!! th thats good congrats" i said as i faced my desktop
"dude come on be happy for me" looking like a cute dog
"sure am happy for you just that am jealous right now that i could flush down the toilet and try to steal your bae" i said emotionless, victor looked freaked out like he saw a ghost
"i know you are going to find someone who will love you and support you so don't feel lonely, and am always here for you brother don't loom and gloom over this" i looked at him trying to cheer me on but to be honest am happy for him and he knows it cause we are brothers
"okay am heading out on a date i wont be around for a while so take care" he says while dashing out of the office while i bid him good bye with a small smile
i was alone till it was time to close work it was exhausting and depressing without victor to talk to first experiencing it cause we are always together chatting, eating and fighting maybe not fighting he does that alone but we don't leave together cause that's kinda creepy
i stepped out of the building and headed for the train station
"where the heck is the train it 8:30 already and it was supposed to be here by 8:00 what the heck is going on"
i got down to the rail way and started walked down till i checked the time again
"shit 9:46 already"
then i heard the train with light point my way and then going off like in a scary movie i walked towards the direction of the noise
"shit gotta get ou_!" was the last thing i said before passing out
