Eating in a Restaurant for the First Time
After paying for the doll, Mio simply left with Somi who was just quiet the entire time as she didn't think that it was right for her to say anything at that moment. Plus she already knew that Mio had everything under control, so there was nothing to worry about that.
No one said anything as they left the scene, even John only had a slight smile on his face as he bid his boss farewell as well as the little girl in her arms. Even though he doesn't know
"Are we going to get dinner now? It's already nighttime." Somi asked while she stared at Mio curiously, she was already quite hungry as they had done a lot today and she couldn't remember moving this much in her life. So she was also tired.
"Yes… I'm sorry that it took a while, but if you are really hungry now, we can just go out to eat dinner in a restaurant? I promise you that the food will not disappoint you there." Mio apologized as she patted her head before placing her back on the ground so that she could walk on her own as she might be already sore and tired from being carried all the time. But she just can't help herself as she is just so soft to cuddle that she doesn't want to let her go.
"It's fine… But can you cook for me in the future? I… I'm not used to eating outside if that is okay with you." Somi asked softly while holding Mio's hands with clear nervousness. When Mio saw this, she just simply kneeled on the ground as she then caressed her cheek gently before opening her mouth.
"That is not a problem at all! This may be the last or maybe one of the very few times that we will be going outside. I promise you that I will try my best to cook for you, maybe I can even invite some friends. Like those people that you have already met." Mio said gently before standing up again and holding Somi's hands to walk.
Since she promised that Somi they would be going out to a nice restaurant, it would be simply stupid for her to take her to eat something inside of the Mall. Because even if the Mall is owned by her and she knows every single thing that is inside, especially some restaurants that was inside of it that has been personally recommended by John, she will still not do it. Simply because she has her own standards and it may sound really arrogant to some people, but she doesn't care.
If the things that she uses weren't made by her or at least designed by her, she wouldn't even consider buying them, but this is the only time that she will bend because she would have never thought that there was a need for her to create some toys such as that back in her time, because it was just absolutely useless for her. But if she had known that something like this would happen, she would have made some, but it was already too late.
Mio then took Somi out of the Mall before hopping back into her car because the restaurant that she was going to be her own, but the only downside was that it was in a different city. They will take a while if she drives on the road, just the distance alone would take her more than 2 hours, not even considering the traffic that she will encounter. So to make it faster, she was going to fly there.
"Little Somi, I'm sorry but since the restaurant that we will go to is mine and it is in another city, we will fly to it. Is that fine with you?" Even though she has already thought of flying over there, she still wants to hear Somi's opinion as she might not be comfortable with flying.
"It's fine with me. I have flown quite a few times, even faster than you would have thought. So there is no problem with me unless you can break the barrier of the speed of light, then we will definitely have problems." Somi just chuckled while she comfortably laid on the giant plushie that was lying on the car seat behind. She decided to go there since she knew that it was going to be placed there and since she would be able to lie down there.
"Speed of light…" Mio muttered under her breath, and that sentence sent a shiver down her spine. Just breaking the sound barrier was hard enough for her, at most, she could only reach about the speed of Mach 20, and that was the best she could do, but if she pushed her limits, she could reach Mach 25. But that was it, she couldn't even fathom what it was like to travel with the speed of light, it terrified her.
"Don't worry, at most, we will only fly at Mach 5. At that speed, we will reach the restaurant in about 10 minutes. So it will be fast." Mio acted as if what she said didn't bother her.
But there was still one thing that was on Somi's mind, how would they fly since they were still riding a car when the car began to float? She then curiously looked over the window and saw wings begin to show up. She was kind of expecting it already but she was still very shocked about it since this kind of machine is the one that she is very excited about.
Their flight was a very short one and none of them talked as Somi was simply lying on the softest material she had ever laid on. When they finally arrived, Yuki simply landed on top of the restaurant and when she did, alarms inside the restaurant instantly began blaring warning everyone inside. But not for the wrong reasons, everyone immediately scattered and they left their trusted staff to continue their work while the management and higher-ups went up to the helipad and greeted the most important person.
Meanwhile, Yuki was just in her car and was fixing and tidying everything that there was need to be in her car. When she saw that Somi was about to go out she opened her mouth to say something.
"Don't bother to open the car, little Somi. These are my people and I want them to serve you with the best hospitality possible, so please. Just relax and enjoy the moment, because I can assure you that you will have a memorable time here."
