The Begining

In a world dominated by superpowers, Felix Duncan, the protagonist of this story was born in 1500 in an hospital located in the city of Tricosy. After his birth the doctors noticed something strange and soon started to investigate him. A few hours later, the doctors warned the parents, Ann Duncan and Levon Duncan, that their baby had only 3 days to live due to his lack of superpowers.

But then, at that night something weird happened to Felix. He began to exude a radiant light throughout the whole city for a short period of time, so short that the doctors were unable to perceive the source of that light despite knowing that the source came from the hospital.

The doctors finding that event strange decided to review all the patients and babies to see if anything was different.

After 3 exhaustive days of investigating, they concluded that nothing had changed and that Felix was still alive. Therefore the doctors noticed that something wasn't accordingly to their analysis, but couldn't find out what it could be.

The truth is that Felix was different because he had been chosen by "The Ruler" superpower, which allows the user to have a total of 5 powers. Those powers depend on what kind of "The Ruler" it is. In Felix's case he had Precognition, Instant Regeneration, Elemental Manipulation, Gravity Manipulation and Disintegration. "The Ruler" is a power that can only be used by the person he chooses.

Years passed by and Felix had isolated himself from the others, mainly because everyone thought he was powerless and so treated him like some contagious disease.

In this world, they teach you all about superpowers and how to improve them. When children reach 5 years old they start their studies and continue them until they are 16 years old. After that, they are considered adults, so they can choose to go to the University of Superpowers, which has a selective process and is located in Berilo Urbs.

When Felix entered school at 5 years old, he immediately understood that it wasn't going to be a cozy place, since he had spent all of his life alone with his mother being rejected by his family and society. Even though Felix had his hopes down, he wasn't prepared for what would come next, something that would change his life completely.
