The Discovery Of An Incredible Power

After Felix promised to remain friends with Yudi, they went to sit in a garden near his house, it was a dark and quiet place with a pleasant smell of the flowers in the garden, after sitting, Yudi began to tell his story.

Yudi - Okay this is a good place to tell you what really happened on that day, but before I tell you what happened on 11 September 1503 I need to tell you the history behind that.

Felix - OK

Yudi - To tell my history we back to when it all started, when I was born, they said that I was a rare case where I got 2 different superpowers and that so far this would only be recorded in 15 cases in history and 10 of them were humans who became gods later, my family stayed excited, but at the same time that I was adored, I was hated by the citizens of the city, mainly the nobles because I was from a humble family that did not have much prestige, the nobles used the argument that I had no right to have such power, but only tried to disguise their envy.

Felix - So, when they find out that you had 2 different powers, the royalty gave you a job to work for them?

Yudi - Not quite, they feared that I could become a hope for the poor people that even they could become strong and become nobles, after all, in this kingdom the nobles are from the lineage of the 3 creators of the kingdom, the king and nobles were afraid of not having any influence over the population and consequently losing their status, so they decided to do something about my powers.

Felix - So what have they done about your powers? And who are these nobles?

Yudi - You already know one of them, an example of a noble is our classmate Nêmesis, he always has his 3 servants around him, so I thought you already knew.

Felix - Actually now that you talk about it, I think he has 3 other guys around him.

Yudi - Moving on, my 2 powers are Destruction and Healing, my Healing is not that strong, for example, I couldn't heal severed limbs, however, but in constrast, my Destruction is so strong that I still can't control it very well, so I've been practicing in a place with no one close by and in a large space.

Felix - Then that's why you didn't show your powers at school!

Yudi - Yeah, but not only because I could show my Healing, the reason why I don't want to show my powers is that everybody is watching me in that school, meaning everything I do is reported to the king, so I prefer to train and practice alone to keep my powers a secret for the day I will bring happiness to the poorest, this is my dream.

Felix - That's a good dream, I really don't have one right now.

Yudi - So the king and the nobles created a drug with the superpower of someone, that drug makes you lose control of your powers momently, and then they go back to normal.

Felix - How did they create something like that? And for what reason?

Yudi - I DON'T KNOW, DON'T ASK ME, ASK THEM!!! On September 11, 1503, when I was three years old, I was walking with my friends near the castle, in those moments I was enjoying the company of my friends, but I got hit by a dart with that drug, I lost all control I had on my powers and lost my consciousness at that time, I killed my friends and parents because I lost control of my powers momentarily, those moments were enough to kill more than 30 people near the castle, I was in shock, I didn't know what had happened in those moments, it was like I awake and then saw that scene, you are aware of smelling the blood and seeing the floor all covered in blood around you? See your own hands covered in the blood of your friends and your parents? And trying to use Healing over and over again, and they were still dead on the floor without being able to do anything and know that you did it?! *Said Yudi starting to get emotional at this point and shedding tears while telling the story.*

Felix - I really don't know what to say... *says Felix, starting to shedding tears down his face.*

Yudi - After that, I stayed at home alone without wanting to see anyone, I stayed in my room for one year, my grandmother explained to me what had really happened when I left from my room, I was angry, but I know that eventually the time will come to use my powers and now I can't do it, I need to wait for the perfect time to get my revenge on the king and then be able to bring happiness for the population.

Felix - I don't understand what you're going through, but I know it's painful for you, but I have a question for you, will you be able to bring happiness to the population if you think more about revenge than your goal?

Yudi - FELIX, I WILL ONLY BE SATISFIED WITH ME WHEN I AVENGE THOSE I KILLED AND REST THEIR SOULS! I JUST CAN NOT LET THE KING AND THE NOBLES STAY WITHOUT SUFFERING FOR THEIR ACTS!! *Said Yudi with an angry face.*

Felix gasped because never seen his friend like that, but soon Yudi calmed down.

???? - You really thought you could hide your power from us?
