Max asked the system if it could tell him about the world, but the system didn't answer. After a minute, Max guessed that the system was non-intelligent or non-speaking until he got more powerful. Max felt the thirst for blood rushing through his veins as he walked towards the window and looked out into the streets. Max opened the window and jumped down from the fourth story. As Max was falling through the fog, he left afterimages. Max then controlled his cape to float while falling, so he could land softly. After landing, the sun shone on his body, but because of his DayWalkers skill he can walk in the sun, because of the fog it was still dark, max then used his strong senses of smell to track 3 human blood and distinguish between human blood and zombie blood after walking for a while max spotted two zombies.

As Max ran his body leave the afterimage, one of the zombies heard max and started running towards him Max jumped use his long claws stab "Schunk!" the zombie in his head when falling from the dead zombie max rolled grab the other zombie's neck and head an rip his body apart.

Max then saw a shining purple crystal in the zombie's head.

Max then looks into the other zombie's head and found one more crystal, then Max absorbs both crystals, and his XP when up to 10, and the crystal stopped shinning purple, After the system finished absorbing the energy crystal, Max flicked the dripping blood off his claws and continued walking to the smell of human blood on the way max killed 3 more zombies and collected one more energy crystal and his XP rise to 15 after walking for ten minutes.

Max then spotted the spot where the three humans' blood are as max stood outside the shop he saw the shop name called 'The Delightful Sweet' Max stood outside for a minute and then heard the talking sound of two women and a man the man with the axe said "Hurry and grab whatever snacks and weapon you can find, I heard there is a survivor base nearby" and the two women said "all right!" in fright as they began to move faster, after about 5 minutes of searching and grabbing whatever they can they all came running to the door while they are running toward, Max saw the man is short and fat and the two women are ordinary looking.

When they reach the door because Max stood in the fog his bright red eyes shine through the fog which scared them "You took so long" Max said walking toward them with smiling coldly with his fangs showing which frightened Jake 'should be his bloodline' Jake thought after Jake calm down a bit but Linda and Barbara were still scared, Jake then asked "what do you want" with his axe raised ready to fight "I heard you were talking about a survivor base and I want to know where is it?" Max asked Jake, but Jake was surprised max heard him from outside, "I can, but you look strong if you protect us on the way there I can show you," Jake said.

After hearing what Jake said, Max smile coldly as Jake started to feel cold when looking at max which frightened Jake more, then max asked, "Are you sure you want to negotiate?"

"Are you awakened or a monster?" Jake asks, getting ready to attack.

"I can be a monster or a human. Which one do you want?" Jake asked while Jake was thinking for a minute. He made his choice and ran at max with his axe.

When Linda and Barbara saw Jake running to attack max, they both screamed and covered their eyes waiting for max to die because this is probably the first time there saw a human die, but when Jake was 1 foot away, Max grabbed Jake's neck lift him and knock the axe out of his hand while Jake was struggling to breathe Linda and Barbara heard a thud from max slamming Jake into the ground, after Linda and Barbara uncovered their eyes and saw Jake on the ground in a pit from the ground being destroyed they were shock and scared, just as Jake was about to scream Max covered his mouth.

Because Max is now a vampire, not human anymore, his personality and mental changed

the apocalypse only respects the strong, and you can't feel sympathy for everybody.
