About the Base

While max was checking his stats, what he didn't know was that a group of 10 men was coming to his location.

Across the building from Max in an apartment complex a group of 10 men is searching the whole building looking for something one of the men who is tall with bulging muscles stood there waiting and watching outside until he said "are you guys done yet" then one of the guys upstairs came running down and said "boss I saw some people across the street" the boss turn and asked "how many" the guy said about "two or three" the boss called the rest of the guys walked across to max building after he reaches the entrance the boss walked in and said, "everyone comes out I know you're in here".

While max was checking his stats, he realized the smell of strong human blood and strong energy from one of them. Max heard one of the men say "everyone comes out of I know you're in here"

Because Max was on the second floor, he jumped down from the second floor in front of the man who just talked, and I saw his stats.

Max then asked, "what do you want? " With max 'INT', he knew they were here to rob him, but still asked.

When William saw Max jump from the second floor and appearance uninjured, he was surprised 'he should have powers also or just a strong body, but I can't see his stats' William thought, but he was calmed down because he knew how powerful he is and max is outnumbered even if he has powers, William then said "I want all the equipment you have on you even that sword its nice one"

Max smiled coldly and said "no" which surprised William because max is outnumbered and still said no, William then said "all of you guys to surround him and take all his stuff"

as the guy we're getting close to, max eye shined bright red, then he used blood Manipulation to cut off the oxygen of 4 guys, as they were holding their throats trying to breathe, the rest of the guys were shocked and wanted to know what going happening, as there were distracted Max ran only leaving the flow of shadow and "snap" all of their necks, but when the bodies fell and woke William up from his shock seeing everyone was dead and max was standing there watching him

'How are they dead? William thought.

William got scared and angry then activated his ability and said to Max "I am going to kill you" as William was about to run at Max, all William saw was a flow of shadows at his last spot, then he felt a pain on his back and he coughed up blood that when William turned his head around he saw max standing behind him smiling with his fangs showing and his hand inside his back which he felt Max hand of his beating heart, then William realized how strong max is, and his power was not us, William then gave up, Max then said "I can let you live if you tell me about the base in this city" William quickly answered "yes, yes" Max slightly let go of William's heart, then William told max about the base, there are four base sides, North Maya her power is ice, East James power double strength. South Noah lighting and West side Liam's psychic powers and William's boss is in the south, but right now at the base East, South, West are planning in secret to attack Northside.

After talking to William about the base Max shouted" Linda, Barbara, and Jake wake up and come down now" about a minute later came by the stair there were shocked and scared when they saw body's all the bodies, Max release Jake from the hypnosis, but he didn't have all his memories, but seeing max, especially with his hand on William's heart he did nothing.

Max let go of William's heart for the others to help him bandage his chest because people with powers have stronger physical healing than normal humans. William won't die. It will probably take a week to heal.

Max then started thinking' although I don't need Jake anymore I could keep him in case' After the others bandage William, Max told William to show him the way toward the base, for the next 30 minutes walk Max killed 5 zombies then he reached the base.

Almost a 15meter high stone wall, and at the gate two guard post, On the left, is a normal Human, and on the right are others with powers while walking with before Max already came up with a plan about what happened to William's team, Max then told Linda, Barbara, and Jake "go live a normal life and don't tell anybody about me, or I will find you and kill you" Because they know how strong Max is, and he will really kill them, they shake their head no and went to the left post.

As for Max and William as they were walking to the right past the guard saw what happened to William and asked" William what happened to you and the rest of your team," William answered" I was attacked by about 20 zombies and I was injured while trying to escape and the rest of the guys died, if it weren't for max here was passing nearby and help me escape I will be dead," after hearing William reason the guard said "go get heal up then report to the boss,"

William then said 'alright', while Max is walking with William he saw the different treatment between Powered and Normal Humans, powered are living in good built homes and have good food, while Normal Humans have to work extra hard to get a normal wood house and food to survive.

After getting to William's house inside, max said while looking at William coldly with fangs, "you won't tell, will you, or else I will come back. "

Seeing max looking at him coldly scared William, and he answered quickly, "no, no. "

After Max got his answer, he stayed in William's house until it was dark. Max then left and blended into the darkness.
