The Cursed ONes

A ship will arrive in one month's time. Christopher says it’ll be carrying families of soldiers, as well as reinforcements for God’s Shadow. They went from being a small band of knights to an entire army. I haven’t seen many of my sisters and brothers since Orion was born. This war has brought out the worst in everyone.


Silver is all that is visible in the sky. Sunshine is nothing but a memory. A chill wraps this rock, eliminating the seasons. But I remain resilient. I remain alive so that Orion may have a chance at his own life, far from evil. He deserves the opportunity to make something of himself, even if his mother and father do not survive, above all, Orion will live—My son will know light.
