Endless War

Dakran grinned but his smile quickly fell, and his brows furrowed " Maya" Dakran softly called lowering himself on his elbows " I need you to be honest with me" Dakran took a beat when Maya pulled herself to lean against the headboard board.

" What about?" Maya asked brows quirked, a little confused as to why he'd stopped what they were doing to have a serious conversation in the dead of the night.

Dakran dropped his head in her lap, trying to find the best possible way to bring it up " I don't want to think that you have to " He finally raised his head to look at her, troubled " Don't get me wrong. I'm loving this but " Maya frowned, worried but remained silent, waiting for him to just come out and say it.

" You. I love you with all my heart and everything I have. Don't feel like you have to spread your legs every time." Maya tittered, uneasy at his words. She felt naked in more ways than one before him.

" I don't," Maya said after a few moments of silence " And I do, sometimes " Maya licked her lips " I mean I did" Maya puffed her cheeks, trying to find the right words.

Maya closed her eyes " I do feel like I'm not enough. You and everyone else have done so much. Fought a war, can defend yourselves and so much more. I'm not even, close to being any of that." Maya wistfully said and opened her eyes to look at him.

When bright green met brown, Dakran smiled and tugged on the medallion that hung at her neck " But you are little red. You cannot compare yourself to me or the others. Frankly, I'm glad that you didn't. The things I've seen and done break you. You are never the same again. I love your sweetness, your kindness. Why do you want to change all of that?" Dakran passed the question, looking at her frazzled expression.

" I don't" Maya murmured, " I just want to be able to stand in front of our people without feeling inadequate." Maya sighed and dropped her head against the headboard.

Dakran hummed " But you are not. Stop being so harsh on yourself. With time, things will fall into place." Dakran rolled off to her side and leaned against the headboard.

" I suppose. I'm a bit impatient." Maya snuggled in his arms, sprawling herself on top of him. Both naked, in each other's arms revelling in the soft touch of her skin on his, Dakran heaved out a heavy sigh.

" It will come." Dakran kissed her hair " We should get some rest. Will talk more of it when our minds aren't clouded" Dakran hissed a breath and lowered himself down, and tugged on the covers.

Maya hummed ' Alright. But just so you know, I love you and I do want you. Now you stirred me up and you're putting me to sleep. I'm not happy " Maya giggled, rubbing her cheek on his chest.

" Is that so little red? Are you not tired?" Dakran amusedly asked, bringing her lips to his.

" I am " Maya sighed " But I still have it me to go at least once" Maya sucked on his bottom lip, her hands straying from his chest, slowly tracing his abdomen to his groin.

Dakran hummed " It will be quick." He quipped, rolling her onto her back.

Maya giggled, cradling his face" I hope not" She captured his lips in a passionate kiss. When she pulled away " You find the worst times to speak of things" Maya moaned when Dakran slid himself into her.

" Shush now, little red" Dakran playfully huffed " Unless it is to scream my name" he moaned, frantically moving his hips.

Maya squirmed under him moaning his name in a litany, lost in pleasure. The feel of her on his length, her beautiful curves writhing under his touch, was more than enough to push him over the edge sooner than he'd wanted.

" Fuck" Dakran grunted, breathless finding his release. Maya moaned, clinging to him and followed him finding her release. It was a lot faster than he'd wanted.

Maya opened her glazed eyes, and kissed his lips, demanding, pouring all she had into the kiss.

" I love you always and forever. " Maya breathlessly said when she pulled away from the kiss.

Dakran grinned, resting his head on her bosom" You know that you are the keeper of my heart. It will never change. It has been yours all along." Dakran mumered half asleep.

Maya closed her eyes, feeling a little lighter, unburdened.

Maya opened her eyes, when Dakran began snoring, glancing at his sleeping figure. He was meant for her. Maybe the sisters had some mercy after all. They had put him in her path.
