--- Information on Endes Continent

Chris and his friends returned from the mayor's mansion and immediately logged into Gaia. After all, they were excited about starting their own guild.

However, as he was about to go to the land property seller in the empire capital, he became curious about the flying spell and decided to check it out first. He became distracted.

Outside of the Moon Empire.

[You learned Flight!]

[Flight(B)^: Auxiliary Spell. Allows the user to fly. Flight speed is equivalent to the user's overall movement speed. No cooldown. Costs 25% Mana upon activation and drains 10% mana every 10 seconds afterwards.] (Hidden: Flight(B) + 1k Wind Gems + 1k Gravity Gems + 1k Empty Books + 1k Spirit Stones = Flight(A).)

"Goodness! If you don't have mana regeneration in percentage form, this would be nearly impossible to use. It's too demanding for a meager epic-rank spell."

He frowned after learning the spell and seeing how much mana it required just to function. Although he had no problem using it because he regenerates 2.5% of his mana per second, he intended to share the spell with his friends once he found more of it.

"Perhaps the manacost will be reduced once I upgrade it. Unfortunately, I don't have as many empty books..."

He had no idea that the spell was so unique and rare that it was nearly impossible to find a monster that could drop the skillbook.

"Arlight, here we go!"

Without further ado, he used the spell...

[Flight]! *Wooosh!*

"Eh? Whoa! Whoa! Awawawa! This... Oh shi-!!!"

*Sooo!* *Bam!*

"Ugeh!"

...and fell down, face first.

*Cough!* *Cough!* *Pew!* *Pew!*

"Why the heck is it so hard to fly!?"

"This spell is a scam!"

"I thought this is automatic!"

...

"Ugh... my face hurts... I guess I'll practice this spell later... Phew!"

He cursed until he was satisfied. He had no idea how difficult flying was or how much his first failure would cost him. In the end, he decided to leave it alone for the time being because his friends were urging him to start the guild right away. No, he did not give up. It was only a tactical retreat.

Upon his return to the capital city of the Moon Empire, he immediately ran to the nearest warp gate to teleport to the commercial district. The capital city is, after all, extremely huge. If he goes by foot, it might take him hours just to reach his destination.

"Man, this is very useful; it would be nice if there was a warp every 1 kilometer... Huh? Where's the people? Right, the event."

When he warped to the Commercial District, he was surprised to find it almost deserted. But he suddenly realized there was an event going on right now. The NPC-Giftmaster was the only place that was crowded.

'Since I'm already here, let me see what that Giftmaster was exchanging for...'

He got distracted again.

"Good day, elder! May I see what you're exchanging for the medals?"

"Sure lad, here you go..."

[Giftmaster Medallion Exchange Shop:

Random C-Rank Item = 5 Medals

Random B-Rank Item = 100 Medals

Random A-Rank Item = 500 Medals

Random S-Rank Item = 2,500 Medals

(Hidden: Obtain 10,000/50,000 Medals and SS/SSS rank item in holiday giftbox to enable SS/SSS items for exchange.).]

'Seriously? Do you anticipate that the Divine or God rank item will be found in that box? With that ridiculous chance, even if you open millions of boxes, you'll never be able to get those. Even the 10K medals are out of reach. No, the box's drop chance alone will make it impossible.'

He mentally rolled his eyes when he saw the Giftmaster's insane hidden requirement for the highest ranked items.

'But, if you look closely, it was actually quite reasonable. Even heavenly items, let alone those of higher ranks, especially the spells from skillbooks, can make a difference in the game.'

He then closed the window and continued on his way. He's been distracted twice already, and his friends were bombarding him with messages.

'Heh! I'm probably the only one who can get that. I guess I'll have to grind non-stop after this. My experience has been stagnant for a while as well.'

With a grin, he hastened his steps. The place where he's going is the Land Management Association. He's going to buy a piece of land first and build at least one infrastructure for the headquarters before starting his guild.

Although you can buy an existing building within the empire's capital, it's not practical at all. He also has a land deed, but he doesn't even know where it is, so until he manages to find out where Endes Continent is, he will settle for the Moon Empire lands for now.

*Creaaak!*

Upon entering the building, he went directly to the woman sitting on the counter. The building was quite small, and there was only one NPC present after all, so he didn't waste any more time.

"Hello. I'd like to buy a piece of land. Is there anything available?"

"Yes, sir! Please look at the catalog and pick what strikes your fancy."

[Land Catalog:

V. Small - 100SQMeters - 1,000 Fame - 1M Gold/Month - 9,331/10,000

Small - 250SQMeters - 2,500 Fame - 2.5M Gold/Month - 772/1,000

Medium - 1SQKilometer - 5,000 Fame - 10M Gold/Month - 94/100

Large - 2.5SQKilometers - 10,000 Fame - 25M Gold/Month - 50/50

Largest - 10SQKilometers - 25,000 Fame - 100M Gold/Month - 6/10.]

'I see. It's no surprise that those powerhouses had trouble saving in-game currency for themselves. I'm sure the facilities that are built will require a lot of maintenance as well. Even with their gold-farming slaves, this is difficult to maintain...'

"I'd like to purchase the largest one!"

He chose the most expensive one without hesitation. With his current gold reserves, he can even keep this property for centuries.

"Understood, sir! Please choose the available location."

After his purchase, the woman was overjoyed. Even though they are only NPCs, they have their own lives within the game.

"Let's see... Oh, I want this one near the lake."

"Alright!"

He did enjoy the view of the lakes. Without him knowing it, he unconsciously chose the property that was sandwiched between two certain all-female guilds.

-25,000,000 Gold Coins!

'Hm? Yeah, there's the discount too.'

[You obtained ownership of Lakeview Plains in the Moon Empire! You can now build up to a maximum of 25 buildings within. The upkeep of the land may increase depending on the number of buildings placed. Time left: 30 Months ]

"Thank you."

"No sir, thank you!"

Smiling wryly, he immediately left the place. But suddenly, he remembered something and decided to ask the woman first.

"Um. Do you happen to know where the Endes Continent is?"

"Eh? Yes, sir, it was only a legend, but I heard that a crazed sailor managed to reach its shores decades ago. He said that the land was filled with untapped riches and strong indigenous humanoid races. The location he gave for the place was quite vague, though, and if it's true, it should be impossible to reach."

His eyes are twinkling the more the woman speaks, but his heart tightened when she said the last part.

"W-where is it? How is it impossible?"

"Well, he only said, "I sailed south until I hit land!". The crazed sailor used to live in Tidal Moon Village, a fishing village owned by Crescent Moon City to the south. As for why it's impossible, well, the ocean is extremely dangerous, as are the skies..."

He got so excited at the information he obtained that he became restless. Just as he was about to thank the woman, a notification window entered his sight.

[Quest Update: My Empire!(SSS)

Travel south of the Moon Empire and find out more details about the location of Endes Continent.]

'Hoh? This must be legit.'

"Thank you, Miss; you're a great help!"

*Ting!*

"Here, take it."

"Eh? Ehhh!!!"

After giving a spirit coin to the NPC woman, he immediately left the building and decided to go to his purchased property first and check it out. He was happy that two of his quests were somewhat aligned. He's not in a rush, though, as an SSS rank quest will take a long time to finish. He has an event to top as well, so all will be taken one step at a time.
