Wait... so you are telling me that this is actually a mafia family?" Kira wanted to be extra sure.

"Yes... but... we only specialize in guns. Any other criminal acts are prohibited".

"We also work for the government as both patriots and assassins. We help in getting rid of an opponent and also protecting our country in all wars and at the golden circle" Arlo gave a serious face.

He tried to look more friendly but it wasn't working, so he decided to be himself.

"Assassins?? That would be fun" Kira smiled wholeheartedly.

Do you go for gang wars"?

'Yes... when we reject an alliance from another mafia family, it's prone to have a war" Arlo voiced like it was a normal lifestyle.

'Yes, he did... and he was one of the best agents we've ever had".

Kira stood up and adjusted her shirt "That should be all right?".

He had no further discussions since he was very bad at communicating with humans.

Doctor Rony's house

Doctor Rony ran to give her a hug as she got from the car "Ki... Kira..."

Kira avoided the hug by stretching both of her hands to push him away.

"I've warned you never to try to hug me" Kira stared.

Doctor Rony was familiar with her aloof and unfriendly attitude, so he got mad occasionally.

He was so surprised when Kira called him "Dad". She was about 13 years of age.

It was the happiest day of his life, though, he raised her since her mom died but she didn't take him as a father.

"When are you leaving?" Doctor Rony wanted to be sure if she was staying for a long time.

Are you sure? " Doctor Rony grinned.

Why are you so excited?".

Arlo Is also coming over for three days. It's so good to have both of your children come together".

Doctor Rony didn't have children nor did he get married but Arlo and Kira didn't make him feel the void.

Go get a shower and rest for a bit before Arlo comes around".

Kira obeyed instantly. She strode to her room and sat on the bed.

Rest? How's that possible? When she can't even close her eyes for thirty minutes without having nightmares that seemed like memories.

Her sleepless nights didn't affect her physical appearance that much because she was a vampire with unique powers as Doctor Rony said.

But it also affected her a little mentally. The pounding headaches and sudden dizziness were becoming rampant.
