Benedito was shaking like a leaf as he put Otto on loud speaker. The storm from outside was a lot worse than we originally thought it would be. He had to rush Neto and Lettie inside before he somehow managed to make a makeshift bed with hay.
We were lucky there was a good bathroom in the barn with a few clean towels. Benedito despite his grunts of disapproval had removed my sweatpants for me and was staring at me with pending doom. Which was a rare thing because normally when I was in this position he looked ready to ravage me.
The pain was so intense that Otto advised it would be better to leave me where I was. He was getting a team to drive over but it was not entirely safe with the heavy rain outside. Therefore since I had given birth before he could guide Benedito on how to go about it.
