Earth has become a dangerous place to live. The infectious disease agency has decided the best way to slow the spread is by taking the firstborn from each family. Dannon and Alayna Higgins and Judah and Bekah Greenberg are expecting the first, and have already joined the Space and Science Experiment Agency to help settle another planet. Their commander's time transporter broke several hundred years in the past, and another takes his place. It is believed by most that the planet is unpopulated. They were wrong. War breaks out. Only the friendship between the Higgins, Greenbergs, and the planet's native races and a return of the commander will stop annihilation of both sides.

Invaders on Akron

 Alayna nursed Austyn late in the night. Austyn unlatched, and Alayna tucked her into a swaddler. 


 “I’ll be right back,” she promised. “Daddy will stay with you.” 


 Lights were on across the main dome, but Alayna kept in the dark. She peered into the holding unit. Maz and Scion sat on their cots, eyes wide open. Alayna entered the passcode, and walked in. 


 Maz waved the arm with the implant, and pointed to it. Alayna sank down and sat at his side. Maz tapped the correct configurations, and the holo-message flickered until it had loaded. 


 “Maz, if you can’t tell, it’s Ashyn. I’m Nessa’s bodyguard. The human armies have found us. It’s carnage. I’m sending a video of the aftermath. Please help us.”
