Alayna rested in her living quarters, and her wrist communicator flashed and blipped.
“We’re preparing to attack Mt. Ahker,” Bryce reported. “Our captives gave us the coordinates to where their families live. This planet is ours now.”
Alayna groaned as she stood upright.
“Where are Scion and Maz?” She demanded.
“In the holding cell; why?” Bryce said.
“I need to see them,” she replied.
Moments later, a guard granted her access.
“You’ve got ten minutes,” the guard said.
“Alright. Thanks,” Alayna said.
She paused until the guard had slipped into the hallway before addressing the elder race.
“They’re preparing to attack your people on Mt. Ahker,”
Scion smiled, and Maz said, “There’s no one that lives on Mt. Ahker. I’m sending them to an uninhabited mountain. Eons ago, it was our capital until the younger race took it over and killed everyone off.”
Alayna nodded and stood up.
