Chapter 29

Distracted

Aiden slams his fist on the desk. His anger couldn't be described in any words. It was like a volcano was exploding in him. He feels like he wants to murder people right now to make him calm. Jake, Alex, and Matteo standing there watching him fuming in anger.

"They test my patience, aren't they?" Aiden speaks.

"We should have known they were already here. How can we not see that?" Alex sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose. They were too careless thinking they wouldn't find them.

"They almost got Aurora. Who knows what will happen next." Aiden stands up, standing in front of the big window. "Jason did not care about his death." He mutters.

"Hey, Aiden. Don't you think you should bring Aurora somewhere else now? They surely targetting her knowing you will do anything for her." Matteo spokes.

He was right. Aiden will do anything to save that girl. But, he can't show that. The more he brings that girl away from this problem, the harder they will get.
