The beginning part 3

Roger and I were inside, along with three other firefighters. The fire is almost out, but the smoke remains thick and the temperature high. Our mask and suit protect us from the damage that the burned building can cause. As soon as we entered the building, we noticed many tables, computers, papers, folders, and other items that an abandoned building could not possibly have.

We were all confused by what we saw. The building appears to be old on the outside, with faded paint, a broken roof, and windows, but it is completely different on the inside.

Hey! Is there still someone inside? We are firefighters. We are here to help. Roger yelled.

We use our flashlight to look around the room. We saw nothing until Roger opened one of the building's rooms. The smoke was too dense, but we noticed something at the corner. A man. He's sitting in one of the corners of the room, holding something in his hand but we can't figure out what he is holding. Then one of the firefighters approached him to see if he was okay.

"Hey sir!" said Roger. Are you okay? " We're firefighters, and we've come to save you."

But there was no response from the man. He's still crunching at the corner facing the wall. Then we tried shining the Flashlight on his head to see if he would react but he abruptly turned his head and faced us. We were all shocked by what we witnessed. The man's eyes are wide and red and his body is nothing but just skin and bones. We don’t know what’s inside that room but the stench was so terrible. He threw the object he was holding and crawled slowly to us. We saw the man’s face covered with red fluid or something. The veins on his face are so visible too and the color of his skin is too gray. It is strange to have gray skin as most people have brown, black, or light skin colors. My colleague rushes over to check on the man, but before he can get near him, he instead stands up and screams.
