Saving you Part 1

A loud BANG silences the children's giggling. A patok Jeep slammed into Roger, throwing his body a few feet away, making his bones protruding from his legs and leaving a large wound on Roger’s head. One of the students screams in terror and they all runs towards to their school, and that’s when I notice the driver of the jeep came out to see Roger. He ran his finger through his hair, and I can see the tears in his eyes as he was so worried about what had happened. I looked around as I was still trying to get to my senses when I noticed the faces of the people, some were terrified but some were shocked. Then I saw the driver of the jeep trembling as he pointed in Roger's direction. When I looked in the direction, I saw Roger slowly rise to his feet. His bone is grinding against the ground as he walks towards me and his sharp eyes make my knees tremble. As much as I want to get out of Roger's sight, my legs won’t move, and my voice won’t come out of my mouth as I try to shout for help. Suddenly, my Chief wraps Roger in a suit, ties him, and drags him to our station. I was still in shock when I heard my Captain calling my name.

Max! Max! Come here!

"Listen to me, Max! Is your brother still on shift? Call him and ask if they can send a cop here." I began to lose focus as I am still terrified of what happened. My Captain slapped me to my face to get my attention, and as I robbed the spot where I could feel the heat from my Captain’s slap, he then grabbed me from my clothes pulling me up.

“Fuck you, Max. Are you listening to me?”

I just nodded at him, but I didn't hear anything he said.

I told you to call your brother and ask him to send a cop here right away! My Captain pushes me as he wants me to call my Kuya Edward to ask for a police officer in the area.

As I dialed and talked to my Kuya Edward on the phone, I stuttered as I was still out of focus.

"Kuya, we have a big problem right now. Can you send one of your officers to the headquarters? " I asked.

"We're on a tight headcount right now, with most of our officers attending to other emergencies, but I'll ask one of my colleagues to go to your headquarters before they return here," Kuya said.

"Hurry up, please ask your Chief of Police if he can drop by here," my Chief said as he took the phone from my hands. Tell him I have something important to say to him. - He continued.

He gave back the phone to me and dragged Roger back inside the office.

“Hello Kuya, I’ll go ahead and end the call now but I’ll try to drop by there after my shift.”

“Okay, and take care,” Kuya said before we dropped the call.
