The day of our hangout

There she comes wearing a pink t-shirt and black jeans. God, she looks so good. I cannot take my eyes off her.

“Hey guys, sorry we’re late.”

“We wouldn’t be if someone chose their outfit last night and get it ready”

Joe continues to mock her. It’s so cute when she does that.

Damon: Okay guys you can continue your little roasting session any other day. Let’s do the thing we’re here for

Jasmine: Yeah but first let’s go get ice cream.

“Okay great” all of us agreed.

“So what ice cream flavour will you get?” joey asked me.

“I’ll get the mint chocolate chips”

“ Wait, you do know that you can just get the toothpaste from your home and put chocolate chips on it and eat it, right?”

“Yeah that was not very open-minded of you, joe”

“You should try blackforest and chocolate mix”

“Okay. I will try some from your cup”

“It’d be an honour to free someone from the mint chocolate chips cult”

“Cult? well that’s one way to put it”

“Yes. I did not expect someone like you to join the mint cult”

Damon and Jasmine brought all our ice creams to the table and handed them out.

“Jasmine, did you know Teddy liked mint chocolate flavoured?”

“Well when I saw the cup I was kind of surprised too”

“Wait Joey, did you just call me teddy?”

“Yeah, I did. Just like joey used to call laurie teddy”

God this girl is something else.

“Anyways what is the big deal about me liking mint chocolate chips”

“ Well, it’s okay you’re just a little different. Not everyone has to like chocolate chips flavoured ice cream, joe”

“Well, now I know what to get for your birthday. Anyways you wanted to try my ice cream right?”

“Uhh correction, You look like you were about to beat me up if I did not try out yours”

“Yeah, right. Now just try it otherwise I will shove it down your throat”

After I taste-tested Joey’s ice cream, I was pleasantly surprised.

“Okay. as much as I hate to admit it, I am officially resigning from the mint chocolate chips club, I am joining the “ black forest and chocolate cult”

“I knew you were going to love it.”

“Sorry for doubting your choice m’lady”

“You are forgiven, peasant”

All of us laughed out loud at this.

Damon: Okay, guys we have to go to a go-kart.Hurry up”

All of us hurried and finished our ice creams as fast as we could.

“Wow. It’s a really long line. Might take half an hour by the time it’s our turn”

Damon let out a deep sigh after saying that. Damon and jasmine were in front of me and joey.

“So, What kinds of rocks do you like?”

“Where did that come from?”

“Remember I asked this question but the bell rang and I did not get the answer”

“Oh yeah. Right. Well, have you ever seen an onyx stone?”

“Yeah.The black stones, right?”

“Yeah. That is my favourite. Cause one it is black just like my soul and two it protects you from intrusive thoughts which I am trying to get rid of.”

“By the way, what are your hobbies?”

“Well, I really like writing. reading and sketching”

“Why don’t you show me some of your writings and drawings?”

“I will one day when you show me your rock collection”

Okay, we all put on our balaclavas and racing goggles and gloves. Damon is the first one to go among us.

He's been driving really smoothly. Looks like he's having so much fun.

"Wow, that was one hell of a ride, now your turn, Teddy," Damon said with that silly chuckle.

At first, I was kind of nervous but I saw Joey standing and cheering me with a pom pom she found on the counter beside the racing kart.

God, she's really crazy.

Damon: Ahh looks like our teddy had the time of his life isn't it?

Me: A lot more than that, especially seeing joey cheering me

Joey came up to me and said

"Not bad for someone with little to no brain for directions"

"I swear this girl would be the end of me" I thought to myself and chuckled.
