Princess Kamiko’s head hung as she smiled, “he is stronger than he looks. Isn’t he?”
“He is more crude than he looks.” Qinglong grunted in his head. Bailong looked up at the faint blue dragon that looked small against the room, now that the room was taller.
He smiled slightly, “Qing says he is more crude than he looks.”
Qinglong’s dragon eyes shifted to him before they shifted back to the person of his fixation. Princess Kamiko looked up at Qinglong. “He thinks I like Bai. What do you say about that?”
The dragon snorted but no sound came out. Instead a deep grunt echoed in his head. Bailong felt his brother’s dislike and annoyance. He looked down at the princess, sitting cross-legged on the floor, who was looking at him for answers.
“He is annoyed.”
Kamiko looked over at Sevir and finally looked outside through the open door.
“It’s daybreak. We should be safe out there now.”
