Sevir raised both hands, pulling one fire from the crystal and the other fire from the path of grass he had burned.
The fire within the crystal moved as easily as his own body, but the fire in the grass did not even flicker. While he was able to use all of RuIng’s ability, the ability to move fire from any source did not act the same. Sevir did not know what to do about that. He sent the fire back to the crystal and patted the grass, leaving a patch of ash.
RuIng eye appeared in the crystal, “how did it go?”
Sevir shook his head. “I have a bad feeling about this. Did you try it?”
RuIng shook his head. “You fire is easier to control than my own, but it still gets out of hand.”
Sevir shifted over the edge and kicked his feet back and forth. He changed the subject, “forget it. We will keep trying. Did you think of something about King Kai’s meeting?”
