On Qinglong’s insistence and pestering, he had opened up to Kamiko about everything he learned, including the details of how he thought fate tied Sevir and Bailong. Kamiko’s ring flared up at critical moments, giving him some clues to what was at the core of the agreement. 


“We should pool all our information. You might will learn something important.” Her somber eyes turned bright and large and Qinglong’s dragon head bobbed up and down. This forced him to have a somewhat honest conversation with Sevir. The other driving factor was his guilt he couldn’t get rid of. 


Qinglong grumbled, “what pooled information? We gave away more than we received.” 


It wasn’t entirely true. He had agreed with Kamiko to pool all their information in order to come up with a better plan. The information he got was not something that helped him escape the day or qualifiers, but it was no less valuable.
