“Not now. I am in the middle of something,” Sevir panted, hand on the crystal as it grew warmer.
“Are you running? Are you safe?”
“Yeah. Go now. That voice in the crystal is around. Go.”
RuIng did not. Worried, Sevir forced. “Gooo.”
“Who are you? Talk to me? Did you bring him? Did you bring the child? Did we reach?”
Sevir stopped running. “He is here. What do you want to do with him?”
Sevir gambled, taking a chance. The asking itself said the voice did not know about RuIng’s presence.
“Let me hear him.”
Sevir considered this.
“I am here.” RuIng said suddenly. Sevir removed the crystal and glared at RuIng, but pointed at the box on the ground.
“Child. Come to me. Come with me. Touch the crystal and I can bring you.”
“You killed my father. Why should I come with…” RuIng spoke on his behalf. Sevir’s heart beat fast. He took a deep breath to keep himself focused.
