Is that true?

"Count, it's about your daughter. She fell unconscious, and she remains mentally incapacitated."

It startled David when he said, "What?"

"What? What are you saying?" David posed a tense question. His hands began to tremble. His daughter—the only daughter he had—was there. He claimed to despise her, but that was not the case. He didn't brag about how much he adored Camilla, though. The thought that Camilla may abandon him like her mother made him frightened to speak or even to express it.

David used his hands to cover his lips. The state of his daughter shocked him. Although she had been OK since the morning, what happened to her suddenly?

"How did that happen?" David worriedly asked.

"Count. I do not know. Prince was with your daughter. Lord Francis instructed me to let you know as soon as I could."

David grasped his chest, holding his breath. He had to go; he had to go to her.
